Abstract
Un proceso y sistema para la captura de sulfuro de hidrógeno de corrientes de gas, que utilizan un recipiente absorbedor en el que la corriente de gas que contiene sulfuro de hidrógeno se pone en contacto con una solución absorbente para remover el sulfuro de hidrógeno de la corriente de gas. El proceso y sistema pueden usar, además, un recipiente de oxidación en el que los sulfuros y/o bisulfuros de la solución absorbente son oxidados para producir un tiosulfato y/o sulfato, produciendo una solución que puede ser usada como fertilizante u otras aplicaciones.
