Abstract
Un método de recuperación de sulfato de amonio a partir de una corriente de gas producida en una planta de urea (1), y en particular por una unidad de solidificación (10) de la planta de urea, el método incluye las etapas de: tratar una corriente de gas procedente de una unidad de solidificación (10) en un lavador de gases (13) para eliminar el amoníaco de la corriente de gas y formar una solución de sulfato de amonio; mezclar la solución de sulfato de amonio procedente del lavador de gases (13) con una solución de urea de baja concentración producida en la planta de urea (1), y eliminar agua en un evaporador (15) , para formar un eutéctico de urea-sulfato de amonio; y alimentar el eutéctico, mezclado con urea de alta concentración en estado fundido producida por la planta de urea (1), a la unidad de solidificación (10).
