Abstract

La invención se relaciona a una composición acuosa de aglutinante alcalino para curado con gas de dióxido de carbono, que comprende una resina fenol aldehído negativamente cargada o sin carga, que comprende grupos fenol, que se selecciona del grupo que consiste de resoles y mezclas que comprenden uno o más resoles y también una o más novolacas, un oxianión seleccionado del grupo que consiste de iones borato, iones aluminato, iones estannato, iones de zirconato, iones de titanato y mezclas de los mismos, para formar un complejo estable con la resina fenol aldehído de resol, y uno o más silanos en una cantidad total en el intervalo de 2.5 a 10 % en peso, basado en la masa total de la composición aglutinante, donde la cantidad molar total de los grupos fenol de la resina fenol aldehído en la composición acuosa de aglutinante alcalino está en el intervalo de 1 a 3 mol/kg, basado en la masa total de la composición acuosa de aglutinante alcalino. Además, la invención se relaciona a un uso correspondiente, a una mezcla de amoldamiento para producir un molde de fundición, y también a un método correspondiente para producir un amoldamiento de fundición, y a un molde de fundición correspondiente.
