Abstract

La presente invención trata sobre un proceso para la preparación de un reactivo nitrato férrico (Fe(NO3)3), a partir de una solución acuosa de refino de cobre del proceso hidrometalúrgico de minerales de cobre que contiene fierro (II) (Fe2 +) y la preparación del reactivo en conformidad con este proceso, para ser usado como solvente y agente oxidante para minerales de especies de cobre en las etapas de curado de mineral, lixiviación en pilas, y/o lixiviación de minerales (ROM) del proceso hidrometalúrgico de lixiviación de mineral de cobre en un proyecto existente o nuevo.
