I'm in the middle of a taste transition. Before, I only watched anime, and I usually avoided romance anime, and I also didn't really like manga. But now, the time I spend with Japanese media is mostly manga, specifically romance manga (I still much prefer animes over other manga genres), you can see that easily because in this year(2025) I read already more than 50 romance mangas.
Although i really like anime and manga i have this tendency of dropping a lot of works easily, in animes I probabily have like 200+ animes dropped ( a lot of them i didnt put on mal), the thing is sometimes i drop a anime and months later i try watching again and really like the story, so don't think that animes that I dropped without giving a rating, as being bad animes.
So summarizing:
+ You can find a lot of good animes in my list that will please most of the people out there.
+ If you like romance mangas that are short, completed and dont have things like Harem and gay shit you will like my manga list and find a lot of hiddem gems.
+ In romance mangas i prefer the following caracteristics: seinen, one-to-one Romance and romance development.

I'll always come to you for recommendations.
also your taste is based bro!
I'm pretty much right there with you. Koharu no Hibi and Henai Heartbeat are one of the few series I've come across where the relationship between the ML and FML is actually explored. A lot of series don't really focus on a 1 on 1 relationship with a Yandere where romance is the focus of the story.
I Love Amy is also good, if you're into or willing to read Girls Love. The characters are twisted and have their hang ups.
Overall, though, I'd have to cast my vote on Koharu no Hibi. Do you have an overall favorite Yandere character?
