and about reverend insanity I am currently reading it so cant judge it as a whole ofc but its def good read uptil now only if you are ready for ruthless and inhuamne Protagonist lol. seriously.
lmao Fujimoto became the 2nd version of Jun Maeda. I knew something was off with the story direction and writing of this manga ever since around chapter 120, but the recent stuff was simply insufferable, and chapter 231 is certainly the last straw for me (nice panel you showed me anyway).
What's the point of Denji's gooner cringe sexual desire? What's the purpose of Yoshida coming back just to be killed in a pathetic way? What's the deal with the reveal of Death Devil and her plan? And ultimately, what in the world was that decision of Pochita, eating himself, never existed, putting Denji back to his miserable Yakuza life, and selling balls?
I think you might know about Nozomu Abe, the Goat animator of Ufotable. This man turns effect animation into a whole new level. Some impressive scenes by him:

lol some certain donghua and Chinese novels were overhyped, similar to their anime counterparts like Frieren or Monster. Ironic how the so-called future of animation merely just ripped off and watered down such anime version.
I'm fricking dead. The comment section saying they're both generic dance movement is funny:

Hero X evokes Urasawa Naoki's trauma. It makes you think the narrative is of grand or something, but it's a bunch of random characters having 2deep4u backstories and attempts to teach you self-help life lessons. There're connections among them, but it hardly makes sense or contributes to the enjoyment or mystery. A style-over-substance show overall.
Gachiakuta looks like something I will never touch. Kaoru Hana is a mediocre self-fulfillment fantasy. I tried to find one saving grace from it, but I'm unable to do so lmao. The romance plotline is so generic, and the drama is uninspiringly tedious. On top of that is a one-dimensional cast, the MC is a gentle giant prince with a heart of gold and the FMC is a mary-sue princess who smiles every time, while the rest are all goody-two-shoes with only a tidbit of differences. I remember the confession scene in episode 12 and around chapter ,where Kaoru expresses her love to Rintaro because he once comforted her in the bakery during her difficult time. I can't stop pondering the hypocrisy if that person wasn't a tall, handsome guy but a fat otaku or a middle-aged man.
Hundred Line actually features 100 endings though in my opinion, it only has like 15 to 20 endings that are actually good. The game was written by many people, so the quality between routes is not consistent. The remastered version of Danganronpa will feature enhanced visual and character animation as well as some changes to the case. I guess it's definitely worth replaying.
One of the reasons I'm not a big fan of the first game is due to the cast. I must admit that I really hate Genocide Jack, I know she's supposed to be edgy, but the way she acts is just irritating and unlikable. I didn't have that issue with the second game, my favourite are Ibuki and Gundam, they're quite amusing every time making appearance.
Mahoyo is a must-play to me, yet I don't think I can manage to play it anytime soon. Furthermore, I also want to try Tsukihime first.
Tbh, I still haven't watched anything else of Fate besides the VN adaptation and Emiya Gohan. Do I need to watch something beforehand, or do I need to have particular knowledge about the characters?
I kinda get your perspective, though I can't comment on that much for now until I watch it myself. Personally, I think Denji and Reze's relationship puts emphasis on the weight of its moments rather than the length. And the way it's short presents a fleeting sense of an ardent yet tragic love.
I can get why you enjoy Kimetsu's movie. Ufotable is one of the best, if not the best, when it comes to visual or effects.
Uma Musume seems like a fun CGDCT despite that I never watched it or played the games. Agree with you on LOTM and Hero X. LOTM seems too rushed and inconsiderate for an animated series. I drop it after the first 3 eps, and one novel reader told me they crammed 50 chapters into one 20-minute episode, omg! Hero X has potential with its concept and characters though, but instead of building an interesting story, it relies too much on the action and flashy visual, and probably shocking factors. I cannot bring myself to take any moral lesson from it seriously because the show is just so contrived.
I took a break after finishing Hundred Line. And recently, I'm into anime again, dark and gritty series I possibly will enjoy. I recall that talk from last year lol. Yeah, finished both Danganronpa 1 & 2. I kinda enjoy the 2nd game more than the 1st one, but both are memorable experiences to me. I was on the fence about playing the 3rd game because it's not the sequel, and I also wanted to try other games as well. Btw, did you happen to know Spike Chunsoft will release a remastered version of the 2nd game?
Still haven't read Yoru, but it seems to be shorter, seemingly only 30 hours long. So yeah, it definitely will be more dense and engaging than FSN. Fate is one of my top VNs, but I can't deny it has several unnecessary filler and padding moments, and the eroge scenes are quite mediocre.
Thanks, it's great to have another talk with you again.
I hope you had a wonderful and memorable birthday!
Right back at you!
The CSM movie is the most awaited one this year to me. Unfortunately, seems it isn't as hot as the Demon Slayer one, so in my place, it's only released in some specific cinemas, and the nearest one is about 130km from my apartment. Worse, there's only one late-night screening on weekends. Guess I have to wait for the BD release.
Talking about the story of the Reze arc, can't comment on the exact details about it because I binge-read the first 97 chapters almost 4 years ago. From the part I recall, it's got some adorable flirtings, teasings, and interactions between Denji and Reze. These two share lots of similarities, both are lonely, have traumatic past, never attend school. Denji's eager and happy to be loved and cared for by a cute girl. Reze lied and tricked Denji due to her mission at the beginning but later started to develop affection, empathy, and probably feelings towards him. This kind of bittersweet romance is something that moves me. Reze is my personal favourite, guess I like her 60% for appearance and aura, and 40% for background and personality.
