I don’t think they ever fight it, I have seen so many type of review on mal. I don’t even think mal even cares anymore. Most user don’t even read these review fully. I mean who has the time to read 13 paragraph essay review on 3 ep worth anime. You might just watch anime of have time if have time to read all of that.

sound to me like he/orshe has no life's. I wouldn't even have time to write 1/3rd of what he wrote in his review and some words he use just like chat gpt ngl.

Hey, I didn't say the eyes in Shikimori are the weirdest of the season and I didn't watch Dance Danceur. Anyway, your comment opened my eyes: instead of just "weird", what I meant was more like "unpleasant". Of course, beauty is subjective, and this is just my opinion. Though, I still think the design is kinda... off? Specifically, the outline of the irises, which is very thick. Dance Danceur has a unique eye design, that's for sure (thanks for the pics btw, saved time), but its oddness is different from that of Shikimori. It is more anime-like, if it makes sense. In Shikimori, they remind me of those colored glass balls; basically, the reason they make me uncomfortable is that it feels out of place in an anime.

(while most of the characters have more normal-looking eyes than Yui, hers definitely are unusual. though, again, you may have a different opinion since you have seen far more anime than I did. however, the average anime watcher isn't even close to your number, so...)

also, i just find it quite funny that this is what bothered you from my review lol
