If you want recommendations, look at my list, unless you're looking for something very specific. Generally I always recommend stuff that I've rated highly (10, 9 are always recommended, 8 if you like the genre).
If you want to know what I put into my ratings, below is a short summary. The ratings are about half personal enjoyment, half quality. My tastes have changed through the years, so expect some inconsistency in ratings, and shows to be rated higher or lower than I would if I watched them now.
10 - Not perfect, but the best there is.
9 - Highly enjoyable, rewatchable. Above average, close to the best, but not quite there.
8 - Enjoyable all the way through. Something that's above average.
7 - Enjoyable, at least for the most part. It's average.
6 - Something I'd watch to the end, but isn't all that good. Below average.
5 - A series I'd have a problem watching to the end. Something of poor quality.
4 - A series I couldn't watch to the end, but forced myself to, something that's really poor.
3 - Describable only as extremely bad, hardly a speck of enjoyment left. So bad it's good territory.
2 - Unwatchable, quite simply so. So bad it's not even funny.
1 - I don't think there's something that's bad enough to earn this rating. There would be not a single redeeming factor.
