Today, in 2026, I'm revisiting this interesting and beautiful story. It teaches many aspects that are impossible to describe, as it covers so much ground, developing all facets of the characters. The plot of this manga is transformative, as they say. One minute it delves into the psychological aspects, and the next it becomes a slice-of-life story. Finally, it shifts to sports without disrupting the plot's rhythm. That's why I recommend it. Here you'll find many well-developed characters, and the art style does justice to the manga. You could say that the team at Studio Shaft worked hard to avoid overusing the Bakemonogatari design style,
...
which they had become tired of, as they were using it everywhere and it was tiring the audience. And we can't forget the soundtrack, which will become part of your favorite songs playlist because it has the perfect rhythm for listening to anytime.
Regarding the sports theme with shoji, the studio, like the author, is aware of how to attract people unfamiliar with the sport. You might worry that it's complicated to learn and follow the plot, but in this part, the story itself explains the basics. Enjoy this game and its matches without getting bored or interrupting the flow of the games or conversations.
And if, after the second season, you wonder if you wasted your precious time on an unfinished story, don't worry. Although a third season is unlikely given Studio Shaft's priorities, the manga is ending this year, so you can switch to it with confidence. I hope that Studio Shaft, or another studio, will finish animating it.

Here we have a new Digimon saga, as this story unfolds in a very interesting new universe within the franchise. In this world, humanity has developed advanced hologram technology, and you might wonder what that has to do with Digimon. Well, the plot is that when Digimon cross over into the human world, they benefit from this technology. They no longer exist physically; they adopt a second, holographic form, making them appear as ghosts. Hence the title, Ghost Game. Humans erratically witness these holograms acting freely, even to the point of attacking humans. Tales and urban legends of terror have spread, which our group
...
of protagonists will have to investigate to discover the truth about why Digimon are crossing over into the human world.
The good points:
1- The protagonist group, each member and their Digimon, are interesting. We gradually discover their personal lives, pasts, and tastes.
2- Each horror story is well-crafted. Each Digimon based on the story fits the theme of the episode, and it was impactful to see The way Digimon attacked humans was because without that touch, the suspense could be lost. The series aimed to convey this by making each battle seem dangerous.
3- The protagonists' Digimon are new or repeated from previous sagas.
The bad:
1- If you get bored watching episodes consecutively, it's because the script direction is poorly handled. It seems the main plot and the horror stories are poorly structured. The episodes are divided into two groups: "Mystery of the Week" episodes, which only enrich the world's lore but don't contribute to the main plot (they are self-contained), and the main plot episodes where we see the Digivolutions, enemies, and the clue to solving the Digital World problem. You can easily skip these self-contained episodes; they don't affect anything if you miss them.
2- The personal subplot of the protagonist and his father is super forced and doesn't accomplish anything important; it's just an excuse to have a connection with the Digital World.
3- The ending and the villain's plot felt rushed; it's as if the The writers sped things up to give the story some logic and finish the anime in 67 episodes.
4- The animation is inconsistent. You'll see that the first few episodes are all fine, but from episode 45 onwards, the animation starts to decline drastically. This is due to poor art direction or a budget cut, which could cause the ratings to drop.

Before watching Toujima Tanzaburou wa Kamen Rider ni Naritai, check out Ganglio. It's a great introduction to this type of Super Sentai satire, where we see the villains' perspective—in this case, from the point of view of an employee—with a realistic tone rather than an exaggerated parody. The humor will appeal to an adult audience, as they'll easily connect with the protagonist. The authors of this short manga knew their target audience. The pacing of the chapters, which are presented sequentially rather than as separate stories, makes you want to watch the next chapter immediately. I would have preferred 10 or 15-minute episodes, but I
...
understand the 3-minute format since the manga is only one volume with 12 chapters, which has already concluded.
It was a good choice for Studio MAF's first project. I hope they continue to bring us adaptations of Adult Cast and Seinen manga.

We already know what the problem is with One Punch Man 3, and it's not the story itself. The manga has a great story that deserves a proper adaptation, something that J.C.Staff, the studio that owns the rights, simply can't deliver. This manga is beyond their capabilities; they don't have the staff or the equipment to keep adapting it. It's cheaper for them to sell the rights to another studio or share them, since a proper adaptation would easily be pure profit. And those who believe this studio has experience making anime with fistfights and superpowers think they can do better, given their work on

DanMachi, Edens Zero, A Certain Scientific Railgun, Date A Live III, Shakugan no Shana, Ikkitousen Season 1, Shingetsutan Tsukihime, among others. One Punch Man is a manga where, as the plot progresses, the demand for technical skill in animation increases, something this studio hasn't been able to provide. For the last five years, they've been making bad decisions. I don't know if it's due to a change in leadership or desperate measures to gain more ground in the current animation market, but the only thing... what are they achieving with One Punch Man 3? They're increasing the hatred and contempt of fans of this manga, all problems that could have been avoided if the main producer, Bandai Namco, had allocated more budget and time.
I'll keep watching it because, as I said, the story is good, and I waited a long time for this manga to be adapted, like many others.

Wandance was an unexpected failure, as many young people were eager to see this adaptation of the story that had caught their attention, especially after the tremendous trailer that hooked the audience. The result was one of the biggest CGI farces of the year, as they sold pure toxic smoke and mirrors, deceiving viewers. The most important part of the plot—the dances—is all done with horrendous CGI, so bad that you can't tell if it was done by overworked novices who ended up using AI to meet deadlines, or if it was simply poor planning in the art direction. Now, with this mistake, it doesn't
...
matter if you like the story, the songs chosen for the musical parts, or the 2D art if the most important thing—the dances—is garbage. Madhouse needs to explain why this happened. It could have been easily fixed by collaborating with another studio and sharing the workload, since they have their best teams working on the next projects, Liar Game and Sousou no Frieren 2nd Season, or simply by improving the studio's work schedules and workload.

I see that this story touches on themes of personal growth, religious beliefs and myths, accepting the changes of puberty, and growing up with dignity. These themes could make for a good story, like the excellent idea of turning Santa Claus into a superhero. But why did this anime, with its original premise, become one of the biggest losers of the season? These three points, which I believe marked its decline with the audience, are: 1- The personalities and motivations of the characters are not appealing to the audience, even the protagonist, as many of their actions are strange and contradictory, since they change their
...
minds very easily. 2- Another theme that the manga addresses, and which is poorly presented, is the future depicted in the plot: a future of birth control in Japan. Because it's poorly handled, it creates many plot holes. 3- The plot holes themselves confuse the audience, such as: how do Fuyumura and Shiori know that Sanda and Kazushige are Santa, and also how do the villains like Yagiuda and Saburou know that...? Another example would be if they are... It's so important to protect children, and knowing that Santa Claus is considered dangerous, they want to maintain Japan's new way of life. Like Director Ooshibu, Hifumi, seeing him at the academy, doesn't take more drastic action to stop him instead of just calling a single guy. And as the story progresses, the plot holes increase.
It's a shame for Studio Science SARU; this failure was surely a big surprise for them, since all the animation work is excellently done. Let's hope their future projects continue to be profitable for this studio, which has a lot of potential and talent.

Let's get started with the reviews. I've been delayed because it's autumn, the slowest season of the year. It's like, "Move over, spring, here I come!" They used up all the gas in summer. But anyway, let's get down to business: Yano-kun no Futsuu no Hibi:
Yano-kun no Futsuu no Hibi is a simple comedy about the new student with an eccentric quirk. It might remind you of the American sitcom Milo Murphy's Law or the anime Sakamoto desu ga? Since it fulfills certain textbook characteristics of this type of plot, the protagonist is good at certain school activities, wins the friendship of the entire class,
...
and all the other characters are just the typical stereotypes of these stories, like the class clown and slovenly student, the nosy friend, and the popular classmate with a kind heart. The only noteworthy thing about this anime is that, firstly, the comedy isn't exaggerated, fitting the characters' personalities very well, and secondly, a romantic interest develops alongside the comedy, giving it the romantic comedy category and winning over the audience that looks for these stories, since this point isn't a complement to the plot but rather the main theme, as the interaction between the couple in its development is very strong. The only downside is that the pacing of the story might bore you, giving you the feeling that nothing is happening most of the time, but overall, it's an anime for those very stressful days. Studio Ajia-do once again delivers impeccable animation work.

My opinion of the last season of Divinez Deluxe was a decent ending but without surprises since a lot of character development was sacrificed to reach that ending. I know this was a tournament arc, but for God's sake, improve your writing for the future saga, we can't fall into these bad comedy mistakes. Stop introducing so many cliché characters, developing more of the world's cry, and allowing new characters to be imposed, claiming they are the best of the best in the series, only to see them lose badly instead of giving good development to the existing characters. This is due to the inconsistent
...
writing that this anime has today, for example:
1- Our protagonist Myoudou, Akina, asks the questions she was searching for out of passion with the Vanguard, had already obtained the answer in the Gabwelius tournament, there was no need to go back to that question, what should have been done was to reaffirm her decision to be a professional and develop her relationship with Inabe, Nao.
2- Why did they introduce the new characters Rokuouin, Suzune, and Miyako, Ruka? First came Rokuouin, Suzune and was introduced as one of the strongest professionals to later lose in the rankings was just the rich girl's toy who had no opinion in her family and Miyako, Ruka the first captain of Blackout who is not mentioned in the first seasons of the saga here they do not force them in to make us believe that everything was planned of course they were bothered with a chapter to mention her story with Blackout to make us believe that she is a mysterious and strong character that no one ever reads won of course because in all the time of the story she spent wandering throughout Asia, this is just an annoying and sanctimonious character who only knows how to say that her lifestyle is good
2- I liked that all the characters were reunited in this closing of the saga, the battle of Myoudou, Akina and Kondou was interesting, Yu-yu was somewhat predictable but it is understandable that Kondou, Yu-yu won because she has more experience, the only thing I did not like was the treatment they gave to several characters, some were Forgotten and others did not have a good development this season like Kondou, Yu-yu everything that happened in the previous tournament for him not to be a professional in the European league is understandable given the personality I would like to have another job but I couldn't be both professional and fashion designer and Ookura, Megumi was left as the weakest leader Blackout with the weakest forgettable development this season
3- I hope that next season has a better development of the world's lore since it is becoming common to see many contradictions like why Myoujou, Erika says that her time to become a professional is running out due to an age limit if there are professionals older than her like Kiyokura, Taizou

an anime for the little ones in the house since this anime is aimed at a female audience with a fairy tale plot based on Cinderella and it delivers on its promise a story with maximum exaggerations that will captivate the public who wants this type of stories but I must say that the plot makes many mistakes it wants to be a fairy tale but without the element of magic there are no enemies only stubborn parents they are never a danger to the protagonist you can say that the biggest enemy is herself since most of the problems are excused by her lack
...
of logic and there is no danger with the prince either, when she arrives at the castle or mansion everyone respects her and becomes her friend it does not develop with any of the secondary characters and the chemistry of the main couple is good but it lacks more creativity in the writing of the characters the author plays it safe he should take more risks in his next work since this is the first one that Tobirano publishes that I will give him credit for his first publication having been published and made anime which is not something easy to do at first I hope that over time the writing improves

How did we get this mess to have 4 seasons and a fifth on the way that the anime writers removed everyone who read the light novel and the manga since the second season abandoned the plot as such and made it a mishmash between the secondary stories and the main one omitting much of the original content that they surely went that way given that the end of the novel had terrible reviews in Japan or it was simply bad decisions by the writers, returning to the previous idea this is because abroad this franchise still has some popularity while in Japan this season
...
was another one of the bunch and surely the only profits they get nationally from the collaborations of mobile games and fansservise products of the girls of this anime, the only good thing is that the studio improved in animation which is a last all this effort could have been channeled into a better manga or light novel
