Hii~ I'm Apoorv! Currently on my epic anime exploration journey for like 8-9 years now (basically a shounen arc at this point 😤✨)

I mostly survive on coffee, late-night anime, random workouts, and pretending to study for exams. Pretty sure I’m the side character who thinks he’s the protagonist — waiting for the plot twist where life finally gets interesting. Maybe I’ll find adventure, maybe a cute girl, or maybe just a wild Pikachu in my kitchen (honestly, I’d take any of the three). Until then, I’m stuck in the never-ending “exam prep” filler arc, trying to max out my sleep stat. My life’s basically a low-budget slice of life anime, but hey, at least the soundtrack’s decent.

Sorry for the late reply man! I could have swore I already responded to you. :(

So the way we celebrate Christmas Eve is we watch It's a wonderful Life while eating menudo, then afterwards we drive around the city and visit all of the popular spots that are known for having good Christmas house decorations. Then we come home and watch a Pac-Man Christmas special from Hanna-Barbera very late at night. For Christmas day it's nothing too special, we just open presents and then have a small ham lunch dinner. Then end up going our separate ways. Hahaha! How was yours this year?

Wow that sounds like a lot of fun man! Building a big bonfire and just enjoying the night air with loved ones while eating snacks. 🤩 Interesting how you don't eat any animal flesh during that time, so are peanuts the biggest snack that you guys usually eat during the middle of January? I definitely can agree with you about the Sun starting to give us longer days by that point. Especially over here in the USA where we have daylight savings time and our days are so short compared to other regions. I've always been a huge winter fan, but I will admit that is one of my least favorite things about the season. The shorter days. 😭

That actually sounds pretty intriguing, looks like this movie is building up some pretty decent lore by the way you're talking about it. I love it when Flix do that! I can understand how you feel about New Year's, especially since January is by far my least favorite month out of the year. All the festivities are over with so everything is just blah. 😂 So much so that Hollywood usually releases all of their terrible movies that they have no confidence in during that month. Which is pretty hilarious! Especially for horror movies. 😯

Wow! Now you got me even more hype to check it out, especially if they're already planning a sequel in March. Tell me, does the movie end on some sort of cliffhanger that you think will connect to the second movie that comes out later next year? 😯

Hey that's pretty cool buddy, sounds like you do have some Christmas stuff going on in your region. Seems like most people I've been asking lately about Christmas outside of the United States, more often than not tell me that it's not very popular over there. My sister absolutely loves the NSYNC Christmas song, and we just watched Home Alone last week. Never ceases to make me laugh, especially with that tarantula! 😂

Wow that movie that you mentioned sounds really good, I'm assuming it's exclusive to India? Do you happen to know if there are any available English subtitles for it, wouldn't mind checking it out based on your recommendation. 🤩

Dude that Chinese restaurant is so good, every time I go I always overeat because it's all you can eat. I wish the Japanese restaurant was. Wow 5 to 6 festivals was really keep you busy during this time of year. 🤗 I am really happy to hear that you still celebrate Christmas in your own way though. Do you have a favorite Christmas song? And even though Christmas isn't really big there do some people buy presents for one another? 🎄🎁

I'm with you on that one! Chinese food is probably amongst my favorite foreign foods from our country ever, Mexican is also high up in there. Even if it's the non legitimate kind like Taco Bell. Hahaha! I also love Japanese food too, we have a hibachi restaurant here where the Japanese chefs will actually cook the food in front of you. I always get the shrimp and fried rice. 🤤

So have you started your Christmas shopping yet bro?

Holy cow bro you guys really had a lot of seasoning to your spices together don't you? That's awesome! Honestly now I'm even more curious to look up the history of your region just to see how long it took your ancestors to come up with just the right seasoning amount for each blend. I bet you there's some fascinating history about it. My culinary arts senses are tingling! XD

Yeah definitely man, it can get super hot over here during the summer time. I really am hoping for some snow this Christmas but knowing our state I highly doubt that's going to happen. ;_;

Dude I can totally relate to you on that one, as I live in a desert state as well. Are there any variations of the soup I should know of? For some reason adding something a bit tart might give it that sweet and salty flavor. 🤔

Wow sounds like quite a treat! I've always been a huge fan of egg drop soup in general when it comes to Chinese cuisine, so I'm very eager to see what this will taste like. Have you ever tried to make it yourself?
