Hey Raven, thank you for your Secret Santa! I was actually conveniently getting more into fiction novels with a historic theme recently, so it fitted in my radar, and so does the whole style and plot of it in general. The last part was more of a mystery, but was still nonetheless very interesting.
The OP of the Gundam OVA is pretty nice as you said. I don't know if it's just Gundam or how old it is, but the OVA wasn't that interesting for me and the characters didn't have the time to be fleshed out from that alone. If it involved more of the Gundam or space factor that would be cool, but it was too rare in my opinion.
