Synopsis

In early 19th century France, Napoleon's First Empire collapsed and the Bourbon monarchy was restored. The renowned genius painter Théodore Géricault exhibited the painting "The Raft of the Medusa" at that time.

A realistic depiction of the tragic accident in which the French sailing frigate, "Méduse," ran aground on a sandbank off Mauritania. A work that generated a real stir among the public.
