TL;DR: Read this if you like good action scenes.

Do not be fooled by the title, this manga is not just your average power fantasy throw away series. This manga really goes for it. The story follows Beryl, who is an instuctor at a dojo in a small vlllage. Beryl gets scouted by one of his old disciples, who has made it quite far in her swordsmanship career, to be an instructor for the knights. We see how Beryl, convinced of his own incompetence, settles into this position and how his reputation as the unknown backwater swordsmaster gets him into all kinds of situations.

In the beginning of the story, this manga struck me as a story befitting of the title “The best master-disciple harem story around.” Sure, that’s not a very high bar to begin with, but it’s still a achievement, but this manga quickly loses that status and degrades into nothing but brainless scrolling due to the lack of progression.
