"You said you'd marry me once I turned 16, remember?" As if this wasn't crazy enough, she had to be reincarnated as his twin sister.

Anyway, great season again.

@Sanxer 16 is legal in most civilized countries in the world. Even if she was younger, it's fiction, not real life. And either way, it has nothing to do with pedophilia as you're implying. Stop being a dumb pls.

Really liked the episode, and got some MEM so win win. Though she caught another stray lol. Didn't expect the gray haired loli to get recruited. That post credit cliffhanger had me cuss the show out though.

The backlash about the ending and the twincest stuff has me worried about what direction it goes in, my only hope is it coming up so much means it won't happen.

While watching Season 1 I never thought Sarina's parents would ever be brought up again. They already played their roles as terrible parents who abandoned their daughter. So I'm still surprised she was brought back to give Ruby one last gut punch. What a terrible mother. The crow girl tried to spin it, saying she was suffering herself too, which I suppose is true, but you never turn your back on your children. She and her husband gave up even before she lost her ability to walk ffs. It's not like they were working all the time to get money for her treatment either. In times like this, you stay with your loved one till the very end, especially if they're children. Even old people break down in such situations. Imagine how bad the child feels? What's worse is that Tendouji probably had her 2 children as replacements, thinking she made up for her past shortcomings. Unfortunately for her, it just made Ruby feel worse. Ai was a far better mother. However, Miyako might actually have been the best mother Aqua and Ruby had in reality.

The reveal hit hard. Sarina, with her brown hair, was so cute. Thankfully, she's able to achieve her dream as Ruby. Ik Ruby's still a teen in her head, but does she actually want to marry her brother...? They're already family. There's no need to make this weird bruh.

I loved that the rest of the episode was dedicated to Miyako. She's basically the unsung hero of this story. There's no way anyone would do so much for the kids of strangers. Especially someone who went through so much shit. Ichigo must've really changed her. So it was amazing that he's finally back at his agency. The reaction of the staff was funny. Wish we could get more of that. Ruby is so cute now.

Just who tf is that crow girl? I thought she might be some sort of a goddess or a shinigami or something, but she was reincarnated? Maybe she's like Phil from Groundhog Day. She has been reincarnated so many times that she just knows everything. Like, no one asked for her to narrate anything. And how can she tell if Ai has been reincarnated or not? If she has parents, how the hell does she get around? Aqua asking her to be a child actress was crazy. Even she didn't see it coming.

Another disgusting cliffhanger. I hate it. The 4th season will come out very soon, so it probably won't matter too much. I knew there was no way they were gonna make the movie in just 1 episode, even if it was an extended one. Ig it got pushed to the next season.

Wait, the next season is going to be the last one? Well, I guess that makes sense. There probably isn’t enough material to make more than 13 episodes. I'm glad that this is a complete adaptation. Doga Kobo was extremely fast in adapting it with such phenomenal quality, at least by today's standards, considering it started while the manga was still ongoing. I watched Oshi no Ko weekly since Season 1, so I will finish this series regardless. It’s just disappointing that THIS work will probably get a full, manga-accurate adaptation while Kaguya-sama: Love is War won't. It makes no sense. In a sane world, it'd be the opposite. But it is what it is.

Don't be naive, they'll air more seasons than One Piece, for fun and profit! A spin-off story focusing on the supposed eternal rivalry between Her Brattiness Arima Kana and that bluehead has already been announced, apparently in an attempt to prevent rabid fans from staking the mangaka's head on a pike over the scandalous finale. As for their supposed "rivalry" I often even forget bluehead's name, that how insignificant a.k.a.Ne actually is...

So this episode was pretty much split into two half's really Ruby's half and Miyako's half, I gotta say though the first part with Ruby the deeper dive into her past life with her parents really hit me hard I havent cried that bad to a anime in years. Its certainly because I can (Unfortunately) relate to some of Ruby's qualities she has like feeling like she has no one left or having a parent who clearly don't love her or at least has a fairly warped view of love.

I honestly wasn't aware the scene with Ruby and Aqua finding out about eachother was this episode (I'd been spoiled on it a long time ago) but it makes sense if that didn't happen here Ruby would have been pushed over the edge. But idc Ruby's first mother was so fake and had such a weak resolve to be beside her daughter I hope nothing for the worst on her.

Thank god for Aqua though that was really the push Ruby needed to be pushed back into a relatively well mindset. As for the Miyako side she's definitely underappreciated she was literally the backbone of strawberry pro after ichigo ranaway she deserves all the praise. The entertainment industry really is such a horrible place and this show does a great interpretation of it.

So as for the elephant in the room how the show supposedly is gonna really go down hill from here or maybe already has to some I can say so far im not feeling that one bit. This season was imo slightly better than the first two for me. But that's mainly because of this episode without this episode it would be equal to the first two. The stuff with Ruby this episode really hit me deeply FAR more than the stuff with Akane in season 1 mainly because we've had so much time to get to know and love Ruby but also because I can relate to some of it.

And also regarding Ruby's love for Aqua I can tell by how the anime's playing it so far its not gonna be a big deal, people really don't have the right to complain now when this show has literally always had morally questionable themes in it. Especially the one involving Ai and Hikaru's relationship. So if you wanted to start hating it for this reason alone you should have just dropped the show a long time ago it was always gonna have morally questionable themes. Because guess what it plays a lot of the dark side of the real world and unfortunately the real world isn't sunshine and butterfly's and this show portrays that well.

I will say though I don't really know what's going on with the crow girl that's the one really weird and confusing part of the show so far. But whatever im curious to see if thats the reason why I may end up not liking season 4 but I'll interpret the finale season for myself.

Overall a high 9/10

Hope they animate the incest sex scene, wow!

Amazing season finale. Top notch. They did the reveal part justice and went above and beyond with the performances, VA actually crying like she had 'NaM flashbacks... Only thing I was iffy was the music choice during that part, a little bit too loud, something quieter and more somber would've worked better than some vocals for that part; still great though!

Then we have the second highlight of the episode, the manager-san backstory, also done justice!

Crow-chan getting recruited for the child role as a last bit of the episode to mellow things out was also an amazing choice!

Easily, second best episode after the "movie" that was the first one from season 1 lol.

10/10 season, again, and now let the dogshit ending and conclusion come crushing down!

@FMmatron It's fucking annoying how this keeps happening with anime and videogames. Idiots refusing to differ between fiction and reality, and also acting like romancing a 16yo is a crime when it's not. It's so tiresome, so out-played, and it feels performative whenever such outrage occurs.

These are fictional character, they love each other, let them be.

Aqua has something he doesnt want to loose again
And Miako and the banana head made up YEY

also I KNEW IT when they talked about child actors, i KNEW he was going to recruit the eldritch reincarnation entity it was HILARIOUS 😭

Been quite some time since I read the manga but is all the stuff with Ruby(or rather Sarina)'s mom new? I don't remember this being in the manga.

Gotta say, the confrontation between Ichigo and Miyaka was adapted very well. So was the big reveal scene.

Really curious as to what Season 4 is going to look like cuz going by what else is remaining, I presumed they would have ended this series with a movie.

9/10. Arguably the best season we will have.

I was just crying the whole time, what a fkin finale. Sarina's life is just too tragic, that woman should burn in hell for all I care. Ai... and Miyako will always be the only mother to Ruby.

Add Miyako's backstory to that and the feels just doubled down. Im just glad Ichigo is finally back, now they can be one big happy family again... right? But there's still the final thing to do, we're actually ending all of this next season.

On the other matter, how I wish there's enough time to develop the AquaRuby ship, sadly the next season is the final one. All the heroines are seriously great buuuut AquaRuby Twincest! Let Sarina be happy!

And here starts the Incest part of Oshi no ko. Marry at 16 yeah I guess you could do that in Japan? The age of consent is 16 right?

Ok before anything else though MIYAKO I LOVE YOU!!!! She really is the best. She's the best mom and MILF. She can ever throw hands as well!!! Glad she beat Ichigo's ass and finally brought him back. Errand boy now go clean the toilets. Really glad Ichigo is back cuz otherwise Miyako and Ruby etc would break from all the stress and workload.

I think her and Mem-cho are absolutely my two favorites of the show. I guess I like older women, huh? or maybe now anime high school girls just not in my sights? Mem-cho is perfect cuz she can be the best "highschool" girl while being Mem-cho.

This might be the last of Peak oshi no ko? before it starts uh...well you know.

Ruby / Sarina's mom...I just hope sincerely that she never sees Ruby and Ruby never has to interact with her ever. Sarina deserved better parents, really. I'm glad though, at least she had Ai and Sensei I guess.

Also, yeah, hard to get a good child actor huh...well how about making the crow loli god whatever girl into a child actor lol. Make them work at least instead of just being annoying and talking. In this show only Kana is going to be an actual normal good child actor everyone else some weird reincarnation or god whatever bs. She's really competing with unfair bs as a child actor.

Aqua and Ruby finally realize each others identities in quite an emotional moment for both of them. Sarina’s mom is such a POS, the doctor really was the only one there for her in the end. Kana and MEM’s reactions though, yeah girls, same 💀 no siblings should be all over each other like that lol.

It’s great that Ichigo came back to head the agency and he hasn’t missed a beat. Next season will be all about this movie and wrapping up this revenge plot. I’m not holding my breath for a changed ending but it’ll be nice to get a complete adaptation. Farewell to another strong showing from Oshi no Ko.

Also, this Floch picture dude who’s criticizing people who “act like romancing a 16yo is a crime when it’s not,” I couldn’t care less about the technicalities or semantics behind age of consent laws, if you’re a grown ass motherfucker you’re weird as hell if you’re romancing a 16yo 😂😂😂 stop defending creep shit and go for someone your own age 💀💀💀

How can they make me feel all kinds of emotions in a single episode !? Absolutely brilliant direction. Doga Koba always make each and every episode of Oshi no Ko reach the pinnacle of animation and for this episode they really went above and beyond.
This was the episode that made me cry more after ep 1 of Oshi no Ko. The first half narrating Ruby's life until now broke me. As Aqua said, how can parents like that really exist 💔
Ruby's raw emotions as Sarina hit me hard. She had always been chasing after her real mom hoping to receive her love. I'm glad that Aqua/Gorou finally confronted his doubts about the possibility of Ruby being Sarina. Though it might look like one of Aqua's plans to get Ruby in the right state of mind and set her on a right path but him wanting to tell that he's the sensei that Sarina loves was something that he always longed to tell her.
Aqua saying the words that Ruby is not a liar and she could be a better idol than Ai was something that she was hoping to hear. The sudden change of emotions to Aqua and Ruby being weirdly close while being siblings and Kana and Mem having to witness it lmao
Mem was doing the right thing.. taking pictures. Kana had a heart attack.

Another beautiful story of this episode was Miyako's. Never expected her to have such a tragic life until she found Ichigo. Aqua made the right decision to bring Miyako and Ichigo even if it was for his own selfish decisions. They deserve to be together to achieve their dream once again through the new B-Komachi. Miyako's aim was great. What a throw that was hitting Ichigo with her high heels lmao.
Bringing Ichigo in and also making him the gofer boy of Ichigo productions was the right decision and right punishment.
Aqua asking the crow girl to be a child actor for the movie and her reaction for it was so damn funny. After hearing about the ending of manga way back and now listening to that line from the crow girl about how good it would have been if Ruby continued to hate him made me cry so much.
I really wish Oshi no Ko give us a happy ending in S04 at least for the anime.. 'cause if it's possible to change Kaguya-sama anime's ed it could be for oshi no ko as well. 🤞

Kana fans might now be the ones getting mad because the anime "replaced" the cooking scene with the omake/interlude chapter that also featured Akane, as a lead question to "Did you finally get the reference?" C'mon, the cooking scene was still there x
These shipping wars will never be over LOL

Hearing too much of Oguri Cap made me forget that Sarina is also voiced by Tomoyo Takayanagi x

Yurie Igoma Takeo Ootsuka absolutely killed their performances during that revelation scene, OMFG. Stuff that was originally 'memeable, romantically disgusting' in the manga 2,5 years ago turned into something genuinely emotional in the anime. That moment made me tear up today, which never happened when I read Chapter 122/123. Lynn did her role well with Miyako, too!

Regardless of Aka's writing of you-know-what, let's admit he's still good at writing cool analogies. I didn't care much about Miyako's backstory in the manga, but Tanaka & co. made it as interesting as possible in the anime, even more than what I remembered. It's not something that deep and the plot always comes first, sure, but these little details are why Oshi no Ko anime has never been THAT bad despite the manga trainwreck.

Lobotomy no Ko Season 3 is undoubtedly the 2nd best anime of the season, if it weren't because of Prism Rondo.

The heartfelt scene where (spoiler) Aqua reveals his true identity to Ruby was very well done in every aspect. I never got to this point in the manga, but I don't see how this scene could've gone had it not been for the emotional voice acting of the two characters and the music in the background. How could they have properly showed their true emotions and message only through drawings? I can't imagine...

Oshi no ko is still the reason why I am an avid anime watcher, as I just feel like some things can't be properly conveyed through manga alone, you truly need to FEEL the scene, not just read it. I believe that Oshi no ko is one of the best adaptations of a story of all time, this is the bar that studios should strive to reach.

Ah yes, I am anime-only, but I remember when the manga chapters were coming out and the people were howling. I guess the final season covers it all. "I'm 16 now, Sensei." Yikes.
I'm now wondering which is worse: the spiritual age gap or the biological incest?

I guess this also means this is the end of the road for us on Team Akane, one greatest losing heroines ever wasted😭😭

In the end, if felt like this season was when Oshi no Ko started feeling itself too much. Ironically becoming the very thing it criticizes.

Shit.. most of siscon brocon animes plot are forced, rushed etc just to get that category.

But this anime, prepared 3 seasons for this moment.. Im speechless

my wish for finale make a good ending. doesnt have to be 100% same with original... just like SAO yuki in anime vs original condiiton is different.. (but this one is more like worse)
or provide 2 endings just like Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works 2nd Season last season vs sunny day (alternative ending)

The creator is smart.. Oshinoko is first "idol" anime that i watch and also "potentially siscon" first anime category that i watch.. while all coming from S1 E1 where i thought it will be detective anime but its not. I appreciate this masterpiece (only if it has good endings. no spoiler and i wont find any spoiler)

This episode is so great I actually want to give a 10 for s3.

Strangely enough, since the beginning of s3 I saw numerous posts, where people said that Oshi no Ko is going to be shit soon this season, and it never happened lol. This is also strange because back at s2 everyone was hyping future events, and s2, while still great, wasn’t up to par with s1 or s3. But may be that’s just me, as I never thought first arc from s1 was that amazing to begin with, it was especially weak in the first half.

Back to s3, I think it nailed all the best parts of the series and found perfect balance between revenge plot, showbiz and characters’ drama.

Still, Miyako is my favourite. If I want the most happiness for someone in the show, it’s for her. Don’t know why, but I always was sad looking at her. Really hope, she’ll get the best ending.

Once again some people say ending is going to be shit, but we’ll see. Most of the time, like with aot and some other anime, those claims from salty fanboys were not true. Hope the wait for s4 won’t be too long. 9/10

I have watched all the weekly animes this season and i can say right now that Oshi no ko season 3 ep 11 has the best episodes of the season. When Aqua met rubys or Sarina’s mother. When ruby found out that aqua is sensei. The music and emotion was too peak. Miyako and ichigo moment holy mama. The ending as well. I am hyped for season 4. This episode has episode of the year potential and I like series like jjk and frieren more. Season 3 gets a 9/10 for me but the episode gets 11/10

Did not expect the bit with Miyako and Ichigo at all, and I welcomed it. She deserves happiness as well.

I have been waiting for Ruby to find out who Aqua truly is since the first season and seeing her break down in tears after finally realizing who he was after all of this time was really heartwarming, but idk how I feel about the whole incest thing and the implications of that but at the same time I do kind of understand it from Ruby's perspective since she is still an immature teenager who probably doesn't understand the ramifications of getting into a relationship with her own brother even if that brother just so happened to be the one person who she loved the most in her previous life. Also, seeing Ruby's past life in detail and her relationship with her previous mother (screw her btw) was just gut wrenching... you really shouldn't bring a child to this world if you're going to abandon it whenever it becomes too inconvenient for you. Oh yeah and seeing the anime actually explore Miyako's character was a pleasant surprise! This entire season in general was amazing and I'm looking forward to the final season 💙

Also, when Gotanda was talking about trying to find a child actor I was thinking ''that crow girl would be a great child actor but she is literally a deity so no way they are gonna do that right?'' only to be caught completely off guard when Aqua actually offered her the job. Really wasn't expecting that and now I'm curious to see how that's gonna go for them!

You can say what you want about Ruby and Aqua's relationship but you gotta admit they do look cute together (as siblings)

Masterpiece of a finale for a masterpiece of a season, one that marks the end of anything even remotely resembling a masterpiece, especially with the upcoming season, which will likely ruin the anime if it's adapted as faithfully as the previous three. I sincerely hope that's not the case.
