Oh, that’s a great question.
Linear transformations come up more often than we realize in algorithms. For example, in computer graphics, transformations like rotations, scaling, and projections are all implemented using matrices. In machine learning, algorithms rely heavily on matrix transformations to process data, things like changing feature spaces, reducing dimensions, or updating weights.

Even outside ML, linear algebra helps you understand how data flows through an algorithm: how inputs are transformed step by step, how systems of equations are solved efficiently, or how optimizations work under the hood. So even when you’re not explicitly “writing matrices,” a lot of algorithms are built on that foundation.

Yeah, I got you! So for the programming classes, they don’t really dive deep into set theory or formal logic like propositional or predicate logic. It’s more about learning how to think algorithmically, structure code, and solve problems step by step. But honestly, having some logic background definitely helps when you need to reason through conditions, loops, or more complex algorithms.

As for linear algebra, it’s actually super useful in programming when you get into certain areas, like graphics, simulations, machine learning, and AI. Things like vectors, matrices, and transformations come up a lot, so knowing the theory behind them makes it much easier to implement and understand algorithms in practice.

Basically, you don’t need to be a math genius to code, but the more you know, the smoother it gets!

Ah ok, I see. I hope you’ll reach your goals and that everything goes well for you. But most importantly, take the time to make the right choices :D

Oh, so you’re Muslim, I assume? That’s a good thing.
Yes, I’d like to become one too, if God wills it.

Oh, I wasn’t thinking about a specific field of AI, more like everything that falls under it, if you see what I mean.

As for programming classes, well… we learn how to program. Wait, let me explain it better.
Basically, programming is about learning how to talk to a computer. You give it clear instructions so it can solve problems, automate tasks, or create things like apps, games, or websites. It’s not just about writing code, it’s about learning how to think logically, break a problem into smaller parts, and find efficient solutions. In short, you’re teaching a machine how to do things step by step.

Hmm, I see. And without meaning to be intrusive, when you say you want to become a mathematician, do you mean a university professor or something else?
Also, why Saudi Arabia?

Oh, I see. I took a look at it, and it’s true that it’s really interesting haha. We only studied it very superficially, so I don’t particularly like it, but I understand why it appeals to you.
Personally, I’d like to become an AI researcher (God willing). I do have a few backup ideas in case it doesn’t work out, but that’s what I really want to do.

And my dream country, or at least where I want to work, is the USA. I think it’s the best country for that, especially in terms of pay (even though it also pays extremely well in my country).
Lord_shadow11 Jan 6, 11:25 PM
Thank you!! And I hope everything goes well for you on your side too.
By the way, what do you plan to become in the future, if that’s not too personal?

Oh, well, I’d say programming haha. It’s true that it’s complex and requires a lot of focus, but I find it fascinating, I genuinely love coding.
What about you?

Thanks For accepting ^-^

Thanks!!!

Exactly. It’s the concepts and proofs that are hard to grasp. But once I get them, the exam questions are usually easy, so the hardest part for me in that case is memorizing the proofs.

Happy New Year bro!!!

Hmm, let’s say EVERYTHING lol. Whether it’s dot products, images, norms, distances, matrices, orthogonality, eigenvalues, projections, injectivity, or orthonormal bases, I struggle with all of that. But hey, I’m hanging in there as best as I can.
Lord_shadow11 Dec 29, 2025 1:15 PM
Sorry for the late reply.

Hmm, I’d say Euclidean spaces and linear transformations are giving me some trouble, but otherwise I’m hanging in there as best I can.
Lord_shadow11 Dec 25, 2025 11:38 PM
Ah okay, I see. To be honest, I’ve always struggled with geometry in general too, so I understand.

As for me… I’d say advanced linear algebra is what’s getting harder and harder. I’m still trying to hang in there and keep up with the pace. For the rest, it went much better than that, so overall I’d say I’m doing fine.
Lord_shadow11 Dec 24, 2025 5:40 PM
Oh yeah, you learn a ton of stuff haha. And is there any subject among them that you find particularly difficult?
Lord_shadow11 Dec 22, 2025 12:36 PM
Exactly.

Oh, thanks for asking. For now, things are going pretty well overall, even though math is getting more and more difficult, just like programming, but the rest feels really easy to me. So yeah, overall I’d say I’m doing fine.

What about you?
Lord_shadow11 Dec 20, 2025 9:39 AM
Hmm, I’d simply say it has way more vibe than any other new release this season. First of all, the story is much more original, it’s a concept we’ve never seen before, so it’s really intriguing.
And not to mention the animation, done by Science Saru (notably Dandadan and Devilman Crybaby), which is just phenomenal. Seriously, the art direction is insane, I absolutely love this kind of production.
If I add the very original character designs, the OSTs, the opening… yeah, you get the idea. I honestly think it’s by far THE standout new anime of the season.
Lord_shadow11 Dec 18, 2025 12:42 PM
Well, for the first one… it’s a fantasy, so I probably won’t watch it haha.
As for the second one, same thing lol. But maybe I’ll watch them someday.
Lord_shadow11 Dec 15, 2025 1:59 PM
Oh, I see. Personally, I haven’t watched them… what are they about?
It’s time to ditch the text file.
