| Part 1 I am worried Kurebayashi will die. She has thematically reached a point where a death scene is possible. But, there is also a possibility she would live to tell Yoshiki and "Hikaru" being different is okay. Kurebayashi was willing to sacrifice herself for Tanaka. That was sweet. I hate what she did to "Hikaru," but I do find myself caring about her because she's someone who's trying her best, and making mistakes. She's also seeing that Takana has become a risk taker. I was surprised by her flashback, where she has clearly done something to freak out her friend. She is different, and has paid the price for it. Tanaka's dad is back. Or, is it just an impurity that can show you your own memories? He apologised. Damn, that sent chills down my spine! Also, wtf was that flashback Tanaka got!! His dad went into the hole to close it? If that is a real memory, then it's so sad!! |

| Part 2 WTF This was soo tragic! I feel like Kurebayashi can make it out alive, but she said 'aishiteru,' and manga characters usually only say that when someone dies or is about to die. Kurebayashi told Tanaka she's proud of him, and then asked him not to eat too much sweets, or he'll get fat like her. That is such a mum like thing to say. We know they both love sweet things, but that being used for a goodbye scene is too tragic! (┬┬﹏┬┬) Tanaka feels like a kid again, saying goodbye to his mum, not knowing when or if they'll ever meet again. Except, this goodbye is probably final. |
| Part 3 Never thought we'd get a backstory for why Kurebayashi says she's a regular housewife. The flashback with Tanaka's dad was funny. Dude's surrounded by spirits, and he just says "see! there's nothing here!" lol Is Kurebayashi dead? I have a feeling she's alive. We didn't see a dead body, and the explosion could be her clapping the spirits away. Kurebayashi really wanted to be normal, and it's kind of ironic, because it's her being different that makes her special to the characters and the audience. If Tatsuya is incapable of seeing anything related to spirits, what got him to enter the Hole? I am curious. |
