Sousou no Frieren

During their decade-long quest to defeat the Demon King, the members of the hero's party—Himmel himself, the priest Heiter, the dwarf warrior Eisen, and the elven mage Frieren—forge bonds through adventures and battles, creating unforgettable precious memories for most of them.

However, the time that Frieren spends with her comrades is equivalent to merely a fraction of her life, which has lasted over a thousand years. When the party disbands after their victory, Frieren casually returns to her "usual" routine of collecting spells across the continent. Due to her different sense of time, she seemingly holds no strong feelings toward the experiences she went through.

As the years pass, Frieren gradually realizes how her days in the hero's party truly impacted her. Witnessing the deaths of two of her former companions, Frieren begins to regret having taken their presence for granted; she vows to better understand humans and create real personal connections. Although the story of that once memorable journey has long ended, a new tale is about to begin.

how it feel to see frieren fans bombing sbr but it's okay because you are a gentleman (jonathan) and gentlemen won't do that + hating jojo is a jojo's reference + sunlighto yellooooh ovadrivuuuuu

I personally think frieren is a great adaptation especially how it's all about the journey + fights are tuff too and stark is my fav character frieren is also so tuff but ngl fern is kinda lacking (still cool don't get me wrong) but in the story maybe we would see more development on her end later unless being one dimentional is her thing then idk

the art style is amazing and world ... building is great.. it's a very chill anime that I would recommend to anyone!

Mixed Feelings

Sheesh ngl compared to season 1 season 2 was kind of a let down in some ways
The anime is kinda slow paced so I won't recommend this anime to people who are constantly looking for action or fast paced story
It's enjoyable in it's own way but at the same time it's not enjoyable by everyone
The story portrays demons very well as they really are evil in their core so I'll give a plus point for that , aside from that the characters are written well but at the same time feel sloppy in between episodes , the only guy who's carrying emotions ... in this anime is Stark

Frieren is possibly the most overrated anime of all time. The first episode is pretty solid, admittedly. But its all downhill from there. After that the series becomes a meandering slog with nowhere near enough substance to justify it's reputation. The characters are mostly flat and painfully uninteresting, which makes the emotional beats far less effective than people like to give it credit for. If I had to give it one compliment, it would be the OST and animation, both of which are top notch. Unfortunately, no amount of polish can salvage how mediocre the actual story is. All in all Frieren looks and sounds ... beautiful, but for me it is a perfect example of style vastly outweighing substance.
