Don't worry, a Himmel The Irrelevant flashback is on the way to explain absolutely nothing.

Aura's Scales are all about flexing who has greater mana.
She challenges the opponent and the one who wins the flex can command their opponents to do whatever they want.
Aura was arrogant (like demons usually are) and lost that flex, because Frieren's mana was much greater.
Frieren could command Aura to do whether she wants so she just said to kys.

Frieren had more aura than aura, but kept that aura hidden which is why aura, who thought she had more aura than frieren, played the aura game and lost, and whoever had less aura, in this case aura, would have to obey any command from whoever had more aura (frieren). So frieren told aura: "kys", while farming aura.

Frieren perfected surpressing her mana (at least almost) so that Aura didn't realize that Frieren actually had a lot more mana than her, so her spell backfired and she was under Frierens control.

In the Flashbacks Flamme Taught Frieren That She Have to Hide Her Actual Level of Mana. Demons can Never Hide Their Actual Mana Level. so Frieren was Hiding her Actual Mana Level. Aura Use Vector Scale Magic where the Person have Higher Mana Will Force Opponent with Lower level to Obey everything.

Frieren Had Higher Mana But she was Hiding Her Actual Mana so Aura thaught that These was Actual Frieren's Mana so She used her Magic to Force Frieren to Obey her but Since Frieren is Faking her Mana level & Then she revealed her Actual mana Level which was Higher than aura in the middle of the Fight. Which meant that Aura has to Obey Everything Which Frieren will command and Frieren commanded her "Behead Yourself".

if i remember it correctly, aura's scale would take her soul/mana and that of her opponent. at that time was that frieren.
the scale will decide which one is heavier/has more mana and let the winning person decide what the losing person has to do. than their body will move on their own

Don't wanna be rude or anything, but they explained word for word what happened during the fight. I really don't understand how you got confused.

Judging from the complete lack of replies from OP, I guess this was just your average attention seeking user.

Aura's ability allows her to command anyone who has less Mana than her, but if someone has more Mana then they can command Aura instead.

Aura was overconfident that she has more Mana than Frieren, but she didn't notice that Frieren hides the full extent of her Mana lvl.

So when Frieren stopped suppressing her Mana, she gained the upper hand and commanded Aura to unalive herself.

Yup, that's exactly what was explained in the episode. It's like watching the episode explains what is going on. Who could have thought? Not OP I guess.

aura's power allows her to confront her mana with his opponent's and whoever has more mana takes control of the other's mind. Frieren was taught since when she was young to limit her mana output to fool demons since they don't use to suppress it. Aura uses her ability and Frieren releases all of her mana to control aura and win the fight

Aura does literally explain it in the episode that whoevers soul weighs less when placed on the scales, comes under control of the person with the heavier soul

extremely boring fight, if you can call it even that

nvm how it's useless and stupid since there's nothing stopping them from ganging up on Aura, it's not like they have to deal with her scales

Do you think Stark and Fern also have more aura than Aura?

I'm baffled by how you were confused at all lol. There was nothing relatively confusing here where everything was literally explicitly explained in the ep.
