About Me

My photo
Retired, housewife, mother of three. Picking up the pieces after God decided the 145 year old farmhouse was no longer the house for us. Praise God for His mercy and love!

A nice Saturday

Went to the flea market. Lots of people there. All wearing masks. Would have been more enjoyable without one. They make me hotter (heat index was 107 today) and I have trouble breathing; but other than that, it was an enjoyable day.

Have to start buying sheets again. Not sure how it happened; but I ended up missing sheets after the tornado tore the roof off our house/bedroom.

Anyway, there's a real nice lady there I've been buying the sheets from.

We like these sheets a lot.

Good fuel prices in Opelousas, too.

Got a nice roast for Sunday from Rouses. No picture, sorry.
Shopped a few other places.

It was nice to get out. Too bad it wasn't a normal day; but it was nice anyway.

I'm hoping to go to a flea market in Livingston in August to see some friends we haven't seen in months; but we have to go through Baton Rouge to get there and hubby says there is a high incidence of the virus there so I don't know if we will go or not.

You all be safe. Thank God for your blessings.

Thank you, Lord!

Two vehicles running.

The third decided to go permanently into limp-home mode.

Praise God the dryer works again!

You all be safe and praise God for your blessings.

Happy Birthday America. Warning, picture intensive.

I hope I can say that next year.

And Happy Birthday to me.

Now

We're getting there. Things are slow when your home is too old to insure.
But I praise God that I can celebrate this birthday with my family.

You all be safe. Thank God for your blessings.
