What if your words were the design? Here’s what one of our designers, Devin Terrey, built with Figma Make: a tool he calls Wrdly that fills any image with words based on tone or theme. It’s playful, fast, and proof that the best ideas start with play. Here’s how it works: 1️⃣ Upload an image, any photo or shape. 2️⃣ The tool detects the silhouette and turns it into a greyscale map. 3️⃣ Darker areas = denser words. Lighter areas = fewer words. 4️⃣ Adjust density, type, and color. Watch your image come to life. What started as a quick experiment in mixing type and imagery turned into a smart little playground for creativity, the kind that reminds us why we love tools built for makers, by makers.

Turns out the best ideas grow in greenhouses –Kae Neskovic. Last week, we hosted our first VIP Dinner in Amsterdam at De Kas, a Michelin-star restaurant set inside a greenhouse🌿 We gathered leaders from Google, Nike, Decathlon, Philips, and 20+ other companies to share a meal and a few big ideas about what’s shaping creative work today. What good is being able to make more creative with AI if your brand disappears? I'm still buzzing after my first Semrush Spotlight Conference. So inspired by conversations with brilliant creative, and marketing leaders from around the world. I had the pleasure of hosting two roundtables on AI-led creative and how to scale your campaigns without completely losing your brand. The biggest theme that came up? Everyone's feeling the same tension: we all want to use AI, but we're also worried about losing brand control. Whether you're a one-person show or a global brand with thousands of employees, the challenge is the same: how do you scale creativity without your brand turning into generic mush? "Just use AI" sounds simple, like "just eat healthy" or "just get more sleep." But without the right process and structure, it doesn't make things faster. It makes things messier. So here are a few key takeaways from the sessions that might help you use AI without compromising your brand identity: 1. Start with your brand. Know exactly what your brand sounds and looks like before you try to scale it with AI. Translate your tone of voice into prompts an LLM can actually understand, and turn your image library into a consistent AI reference base. The more precise you are upfront, the less time you'll spend fixing wonky outputs later. 2. The brief is everything. A good brief = good output. If someone says, "Just use AI," your response should be, "Just brief me well." We're even building better AI-briefing tools at Superside to help with this, because turns out "make it pop" doesn't work any better for AI than it did for humans. 3. Be the champion, not the skeptic. Instead of pushing back on AI, take the lead on how it's used. Be the voice of quality and brand consistency. That's real creative leadership, and it's how you stay relevant instead of becoming the person everyone works around.
