🚀 A milestone for the Bolivian tech community 🇧🇴 Last year, I had the opportunity to organize and take part in the first official Supabase Meetup in Bolivia, held at the Universidad Católica Boliviana (UCB) – Graduate School, in Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Together with Supabase, GDG Santa Cruz, Women Techmakers Santa Cruz, and Aspire Institute Bolivia, we brought together more than 50 attendees across both events to share knowledge, real-world experiences, and practical insights around open-source backends, modern development, and innovation. That same year, we also participated in the INNOVATHON UEB 2025, hosted by the Universidad Evangélica Boliviana (UEB), supporting high school students as they built technology solutions using Artificial Intelligence, encouraging innovation and early tech talent. Two universities. Two different spaces. One shared goal: to strengthen the tech community, education, and the adoption of open technologies in Bolivia. My commitment is clear: to keep bringing as many technologies as possible, working hand in hand with local and global communities, and building strong, sustainable spaces in Bolivia where technology can be learned, shared, and truly developed.
