UPDATED: Something wicked - FutureQuake

A recent email from ebay highlighted to me that I'd never covered the Something Wicked anthology series here on the blog. I missed the series when it came out originally and the wikipedia page (here) is a bit light on some of the details so I'd be delighted if any could help me out with any more details about the series. I'd particularly love to know how long it lasted (plus details on cover artists and contributors would also be very useful).

Thanks to John Freeman who has helped me out with my request for more info on Something Wicked...

UPDATED: Early Dan Cornwell work to collect

I'm updating my original post (below) with the addition of a quick look at a further early piece of work by Dan from 2014...
The book is paperback, slightly larger than A5, softback, full colour throughout and has probably 150 pages. Included in these 16 stories is a 5 page story illustrated by Dan...

First page of the strip - it was hard to scan! The character on the left-hand side of that bottom left panel looks particularly 'Cornwell-ian'
Copies are easily available on evilbay.

Following on from my post a couple of weeks ago (here) about my 'prog slog' dedicated to Dan 'Rok of the Reds' Cornwell's contributions to 2000AD and the Judge Dredd Megazine I thought a follow-up post was necessary.

So today I'm just going to highlight Dan's work outside of Rok / 2000AD / Judge Dredd megazine and instead focus on his early fanzine work instead....

The Price - FutureQuake 21, written by Derek Hamill (June 2012)
still available to buy here

A Soldiers Guilt - FutureQuake 23, written by Ollie Masters (July 2013)

Perks of the Job - FutureQuake 23, written by Robert Lefebvre (July 2013)
still available to buy here

Strontium Dogs - Wirehead Rex - The Day the Diddly Died - Dogbreath 28, written by Dirk van Dom (March 2013)
sadly out of print

Strontium Dogs - Wirehead Rex - The Idolmaker Subterfuge - Dogbreath 29, written by Dirk van Dom (October 2014)
sadly out of print

Cover to 'Zarjaz' fanzine issue 30
available to buy here

As ever, let me know if there's anything I've missed - thanks for reading
