Abstract

The method for processing the extruded freshwater fish pellet is characterized in that the extruded dry pellet with a moisture content of 7% to 14% is heat-treated in the smoking and scalding chamber by even heating to a temperature of 110°C, after which the pellet moves to a vacuum mixer in which, under pressure, a liquid aromatic substance of 30% of water to 70% and a temperature of 30°C is added in the amount of 0.51/kg of pellets and respectively from 70% of glycol to 30%, after the even distribution of the above solution in the amount of 0.51 per kilogram of extruded pellet, rapeseed oil is added under pressure at 50g per kilogram of dry raw material and further it is stirred for about 2 hours to reach room temperature, then the ingredients are added in the form of lecithin, guar and xanthan gum blends to 2 % per kilogram of pellets, as well as wheat gluten in an amount of not more than 5% per kilogram of pellets and skimmed soy flour in a total amount of 10g/1kg of dry raw material the whole is subjected to the process of mixing until a soft coating of the raw material that cools down to the room temperature.

Description

The method of processing extruded pellets for freshwater fish
The subject of the invention is a method of treating extruded pellet for freshwater fish in order to obtain a soft-pellet feed for use in fishing as a bait.
Polish patent description No. PL 188 178 discloses a method of producing flaky feed for water creatures, in particular fish, shrimps and invertebrates, living in both fresh and seawaters, composed of flakes of varying thickness, ranging from 10 μπι to 5000 μιη, and preferably from 80 μπι to 140 μηι, which contains, in addition to nutrients such as fish and fish components drought, crustaceans, molluscs, maize, extract of plant protein, also the natural flavours, natural colours and possibly enzymes, vitamins, probiotics, yeast, growth and fertility enhancing agents and other components sensitive to high temperature. This method consists in forming moulding sand by mixing all the ground components of the feed with water and its extrusion with the aid of an extruder, and then cutting the strips with a knife assembly for pellets of suitable thickness. The obtained pellets are then introduced with flat surfaces between the rollers of the roller mill, equipped with two rotary rollers with the spacing set, equal to the desired thickness of flakes and they are rolled out, whereby the flakes obtained at the roller mill output are dried until the final moisture content is between 5% and 30%, preferably from 6% to 20%.
Also, Polish patent description No. PL 209 299, discloses the method of producing high-energy, extruded fish feeds, which consists in the fact that ground fresh fish feed material with a moisture content of 75% to 80% is heated to a temperature of 70°C to 100°C, evaporating water to obtain humidity from 47% to 53%, the fat and water are separated mechanically and then combined with plant material with a moisture content of 10% and extruded, whereby the humidity of the extruded mixture of these raw materials can not exceed 30%.
In turn, Polish Patent No. PL 194 782 discloses fish and aquarium invertebrates feed in the form of flakes, with a high fat content, which is characterized by the fact that it has evenly distributed fat content in the feed mass, in the amount of 12% to 40%, preferably from 12% to 20%, and most preferably about 18%, and the humidity in an amount of from 1% to 30%, preferably from 4% to 25%, and most preferably about 8%, and it has the form of a flake of equal shape; moreover, in the feed mass it contains evenly distributed: proteins in amount from 25% to 50%, preferably about 43%, starch in an amount from 10% to 25%, preferably about 13%.
A method of using extruded pellets for fishing is known, which is used by fishermen to fish for the so-called method, it consists in using a special basket with a container, which, by compression, gives the pellets a compact structure. The pellets themselves have a hard structure, they can not be combined with each other by squeezing, they must be properly prepared by soaking in the proper amount of water and waiting for the right amount of time until the pellets get adequate moisture and begin to combine with each other, creating a compact complex structure. Too much water causes the pellets to soften what causes their original shape and purpose is lost, not enough water will cause that the pellets will not properly glue and disintegrate when casting a blend with a fishing rod.
The subject of the invention is to obtain a feed granulate having a friable, loose structure and, at the same time, a suitable moisture, viscosity and consistency which, by even compression, unstably connects the individual granule grains which caused by the water and external forces acting on the external structure falls into the original form.
The method for processing the extruded freshwater fish pellet according to the invention consists in that the extruded dry pellet with a moisture content of 7% to 14% is heat-treated in the smoking and scalding chamber with heating to a temperature of 110°C, after which the pellet moves to a vacuum mixer in which, under pressure, a liquid aromatic substance of 30% of water to 70% and a temperature of 30°C is added in the amount of 0.51/kg of pellets and respectively from 70% of glycol to 30%, after the even distribution of the above solution in the amount of 0.51 per kilogram of extruded pellet, rapeseed oil is added under pressure at 50g per kilogram of dry raw material and further it is stirred for about 2 hours to reach room temperature, then the ingredients are added in the form of lecithin, guar and xanthan gum blends to 2 % per kilogram of pellets, as well as wheat gluten in an amount of not more than 5% per kilogram of pellets and skimmed soy flour in a total amount of lOg/lkg of dry raw material the whole is subjected to the process of mixing until a soft coating of the raw material that cools down to the room temperature. The pellet that is prepared in accordance with the invention is not combined, has a friable, loose structure which, by even compression, unstably connects the individual granule grains which caused by the water and external forces acting on the external structure falls into the original form. The processed feed for freshwater fish, in the form of rollers with a diameter of 1 to 3mm, obtained in the process of extrusion, followed by treatment involving its softening and the creation of a suitable viscous external structure, high in fat, protein, starch, is characterized by the fact that has a fat content uniformly distributed throughout the feed, from 10% to 25%, and a moisture content preferably in the range of 25% to 35%, most preferably about 30%, and is in the form of rolls of the same shape and furthermore it contains evenly distributed in the feed mass: proteins in an amount from 25% to 40%, preferably about 30%.
The subject of the invention is described in more detail in the embodiment.
Embodiment
Extruded dry pellet, with a moisture content of 12%, is subjected to a mixing process in a vacuum mixer during which a solution of water and food glycol is added under the pressure in 50% water and 50% glycol, respectively, and the ingredients are mixed until the above solution is evenly distributed in the amount of 0.5 litres per kilogram of extruded pellet, as well as the rapeseed oil is added in the amount of 0.05 ml/kg of dry granules, then the following ingredients are added in the form of mixtures of guar and xanthan gum in an amount of 1.5% per kilogram of pellet, and also a wheat gluten in an amount of 4% per kilogram of pellets, the whole is mixed for 2 hours until the moisture is absorbed by the pellets and a soft structure is obtained. Finished extruded pellets have a resilient structure, a viscosity feature that causes combining individual granules in the process of kneading, crushing, pressing; the feature of an unstable complex structure. Finished freshwater fish feed, in the form of rollers with a diameter of 1 to 3mm, obtained in the process of extrusion, followed by treatment involving its softening and the creation of a suitable viscous external structure, high in fat, protein, starch, has a fat content uniformly distributed throughout the feed, from 10% to 25%, and a moisture content preferably in the range of 25% to 35%, most preferably about 30%, and is in the form of rolls of the same shape and furthermore it contains evenly distributed in the feed mass: proteins in an amount from 25% to 40%, preferably about 30%. Finished pellet has a soft structure, which causes that at the moment of compression, individual pellets combine with each other to form a uniform composite whole. Under the influence of water, the pellets thrown disintegrate up to 15 minutes into the original form into individual granules. Such a bait can be formed by squeezing, kneading, crushing, crumpled without additional soaking of pellets.
