Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif de guidage flottant de bandes métalliques au moyen d'un gaz, comprenant une pluralité d'unités de traitement thermique (1, 1') munies respectivement d'un four à tuyères inférieur et d'un four à tuyères supérieur (4A, 4B), un système de canal d'écoulement inférieur et supérieur, au moins un ventilateur (5A, 5A', 5B, 5B') et plusieurs tubes radiants (6A, 6B). L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de faire fonctionner un tel dispositif. L'invention vise à obtenir un dispositif ou un procédé permettant d'améliorer l'efficacité énergétique, le transfert de chaleur et ainsi la capacité de production, ainsi que la qualité des produits. A cet effet, chaque système de canal d'écoulement comporte transversalement à la direction de la bande au moins un creux (11A, 11B) en direction des fours à tuyères (4A, 4B) pour loger au moins un tube radiant (6A, 6B).
