Abstract

　本発明の目的は、容易に製造することができ、且つ発光特性及び寿命特性が良好な有機ＥＬ素子、その製造方法並びにその製造に用いる材料を提供することにある。 　陽極、発光層、陰極、及び前記陽極と前記発光層との間又は前記発光層と前記陰極との間に設けられた金属酸化物層を有する有機ＥＬ素子であって、前記金属酸化物層が、金属酸化物及び溶媒を含む溶液を、素子を構成する他の層上に塗布してなる層である有機ＥＬ素子；並びにその製造方法及びその製造に用いる塗布液を提供する。
