Abstract

 強度と軽量化を両立させ、さらには量産性に優れた運動案内装置を提供する。  運動案内装置は、転動体転走部1aを有する軌道レール1と、転動体転走部1aに対向する負荷転動体転走部8cを有すると共に、負荷転動体転走部8cと略平行に伸びる転動体戻し通路10aを含む転動体循環経路を有する移動ブロック2と、転動体循環経路に配列される複数の転動体3と、を備える。移動ブロック2は、負荷転動体転走部8cを有する鋼製の転動部分8と、転動部分8に結合されると共に、移動ブロック2を相手部品に取り付けるための取付け面9aを有し、転動部分8よりも比重が小さい金属製の取付け部分9と、転動体戻し通路10aを有する樹脂製の戻し部分10と、を含む。強度・比重の異なる三つの材料を移動ブロックの適切な場所に配置するので、強度と軽量化を両立させた移動ブロック2が得られる。
