Abstract

L'invention concerne un système de distribution d'aliments destiné à une ferme laitière, un tiers fournisseur du système pouvant fournir à la ferme laitière des listes d'hybrides approuvés pour les composants d'alimentation, des informations nécessaires à la mise en oeuvre du procédé d'alimentation, et l'ensemble ou une partie des besoins en composants pour la ration d'alimentation correspondant à une ration d'alimentation contenant au moins une première source de fourrage choisie dans le groupe comportant de l'ensilage de maïs à nervure brune, de l'ensilage de maïs à double usage, de l'ensilage de maïs feuillu, et de l'ensilage d'herbe; une deuxième source de fourrage choisie dans le groupe comportant de l'ensilage de maïs à double usage, de l'ensilage préfané de luzerne, du foin de luzerne, de l'herbe ensilée et un mélange de luzerne et d'herbe; et un mélange de grains de maïs de grains d'amidon d'endosperme opaque/farineux et vitreux/dur auquel peut être mélangé du maïs denté normal afin d'obtenir un niveau prédéterminé de digestibilité d'amidon in vitro. De tels composants de grains mélangés sont traités ultérieurement afin d'obtenir une granulométrie spécifique de l'amidon mélangé. Ledit système de distribution d'aliments peut également fournir à la ferme laitière une caractérisation en temps réel d'au moins certains de ses ingrédients d'alimentation, et des stratégies de remise en parquet afin de maximiser la productivité en lait des vaches.
