Abstract

【課題】汎用性に優れ、薄型で、頭部支持状態から傾倒して格納状態とするときの操作負荷を軽減して軽快で確実にすることが可能なヘッドレスト及びヘッドレストを備えた車両用シートを提供する。 【解決手段】背凭シートＳ２上部に装着される支持部材１と、支持部材１と回動可能に係合されるフレーム２と、フレーム２を付勢するフレーム付勢手段３と、フレーム２と支持部材１の間に設けられたロック機構４とを備え、ロック機構４は、支持部材１に配設され係合溝部４１ａ，４２ａが形成された係止部材４１，４２と、支持部材１側に向けて形成された凹部４４ｂを有し可動可能な操作杆４４と、フレーム２に回動可能に軸支され操作杆４４の可動と共に係合溝部４１ａ，４２ａに交差して係脱可能に配設された固定部材４６と、固定部材４６が係合溝部４１ａ，４２ａ方向に付勢されるように操作杆４４を付勢する操作杆付勢手段４５と、を有した。
