Abstract

【課題】汎用性に優れ、薄型で、頭部支持状態から傾倒して格納状態とするときの操作負荷を軽減して軽快に行うことが可能なヘッドレスト及びヘッドレストを備えた車両用シートを提供する。 【解決手段】背凭シートＳ２の上部に装着されるピラー１と、ピラー１と回動可能に係合されるヘッドレストフレーム２と、ヘッドレストフレーム２を一方側へ付勢するヘッドレストフレーム付勢手段３と、ヘッドレストフレーム２とピラー１との間に設けられたロック手段４と、を備え、ロック手段４はピラー１に配設され係合溝部４１ａ，４２ａが形成されたラッチプレート４１，４２と、ヘッドレストフレーム２に回動可能に軸支され係合溝部４１ａ，４２ａに交差して係脱可能に配設されたラチェット４６とを有し、ラチェット４６は係合溝部４１ａ，４２ａの溝の高さ方向の移動によりラッチプレート４１，４２に係脱される。
