  • the present invention relates to an ecologically harmless composition based on calcium sulfate hydrate and its use for the extermination of rats and / or outside.

  • Rats and mice are among the main pests in rural and urban areas due to the damage to food stores but also the damage to electrical installations, books, files etc. and due to their role as disease carriers. To combat them, toxic compounds such as ⁇ -naphthylthiourea were initially used, cf. DE-PS 919 617. However, due to increased environmental awareness and the increasingly strict legal regulations, laying out such poisonous baits is no longer desirable or permissible. Furthermore, pets such as dogs and cats, which are kept in large numbers today, are also endangered by such toxic baits. A newer agent uses an active ingredient that prevents blood from clotting, so that the animals bleed to death even with minor injuries. However, this promotes an increased incidence of flies and other pests, so that diseases and diseases can be transmitted to humans. Such agents have therefore had to be discontinued after a test phase.
