Abstract

A motorcycle is provided. The motorcycle includes a rear container, a saddle and a manually control element. The saddle is adapted to be rotated between a first orientation and a second orientation relative to the rear container. When the saddle is in the first orientation, the saddle covers the rear container. When the saddle is in the second orientation, the rear container is opened. The manually control element is disposed on the rear container. When the saddle is in the first orientation, the manually control element is covered by the saddle.

Motorcycle with rear storage box

This creation is about a motorcycle, and in particular about a motorcycle with a rear storage box.

In conventional motorcycles, knobs or buttons are installed on the motorcycle's outer shell to operate components such as the fuel tank cover or the front storage box cover. However, knobs or buttons exposed to the outside are often affected by external environmental factors and are easily stuck with mud, sand and water. As a result, the knobs/buttons may not operate smoothly or even get stuck, unable to move, and lose their functions, making it impossible to open the fuel tank cover or the front storage box cover, causing trouble to the user.

The present invention provides a motorcycle to solve the problem of the prior art, including a rear storage box, a seat cushion and a manual control element. The seat cushion is suitable for rotating between a first position and a second position relative to the rear storage box. When the seat cushion is in the first position, the seat cushion covers the rear storage box, and when the seat cushion is in the second position, the rear storage box is in an open state. The manual control element is arranged in the rear storage box, wherein when the seat cushion is in the first position, the manual control element is covered by the seat cushion.

In one embodiment, the manual control element includes a knob or a button.

In one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a fuel tank cover, a cable and a cover lock, one end of the cable is connected to the manual control element, and the other end of the cable is connected to the cover lock. By operating the manual control element, the cover lock can be unlocked to release the fuel tank cover.

In one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a front storage box cover, a cable and a front storage box cover lock head, one end of the cable is connected to the manual control element, and the other end of the cable is connected to the front storage box cover lock head. By operating the manual control element, the front storage box cover lock head can be unlocked to release the front storage box cover.

In one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a frame, the rear storage box is disposed on the frame, and the manual control element is connected to the frame.

In one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a seat cushion pivot mechanism, the seat cushion pivot mechanism is disposed on the frame, the seat cushion is connected to the seat cushion pivot mechanism, and the seat cushion rotates between the first position and the second position through the seat cushion pivot mechanism.

In one embodiment, the rear storage box includes a box body and a flange, the flange is arranged on the upper edge of the box body, and the manual control element is arranged on the flange.

In one embodiment, the frame includes a first extension tube, a second extension tube and a mounting seat, the mounting seat straddles the first extension tube and the second extension tube, an engaging groove is formed on the mounting seat, and the manual control element engages with the engaging groove.

In one embodiment, in a horizontal direction, the manual control element is located between the seat cushion pivot mechanism and the box.

In one embodiment, the rear storage box includes a side wall connected to the flange, and the side wall at least partially corresponds to the manual control element.

In the embodiment of the invention, when the seat is in the first position, the manual control element is covered by the seat. Through the shielding of the seat, the manual control element is not easily affected by external environmental factors. In addition to being less likely to get stuck with mud, sand and water, the manual control element is located below the seat and will not be deteriorated by sunlight exposure. It also has an anti-theft function, which enhances the commercial value of the entire vehicle.

Referring to FIG. 1 , it shows the appearance of a motorcycle M according to an embodiment of the present invention, including components such as a faucet 91 , a front wheel 92 , a rear wheel 93 , a seat 94 , and a power system 95 .

The motorcycle M includes a front section, a middle section, and a rear section. The front section of the motorcycle M is provided with components such as a faucet 91, a front wheel 92, a turn signal light, and a key hole. The middle section of the motorcycle M is provided with components such as a power system 95, a seat cushion 94, and a footrest. The rear section of the motorcycle M is provided with components such as a tail light, a rear wheel 93, and a fender.

The faucet 91 is used to control the direction of the motorcycle M. Functional parts may be installed on the faucet 91, including units such as instruments, switches, and rearview mirrors. The faucet 91 also has handles (including a refueling handle) and a handbrake. The user can control the direction of the faucet 91 through the handles, adjust the throttle angle of the power system 95 through the refueling handle to control the power output, and decelerate the motorcycle M through the handbrake. The faucet 91 may also be equipped with a main light, which provides the main lighting for the motorcycle M.

The faucet 91 and the front wheel 92 are connected via a faucet rotating shaft, so that the angle of the front wheel 92 can be controlled by rotating the faucet 91, thereby controlling the direction of travel of the motorcycle M.

The power system 95 is connected to and drives the rear wheel 93, thereby providing power to the motorcycle M and making the motorcycle M move forward.

FIG. 2 is a diagram showing the main structural assembly of the motorcycle of the present invention. FIG. 3 is an exploded diagram showing the main structural assembly of the motorcycle of the present invention. With reference to FIGS. 1, 2, and 3, the motorcycle of the present invention includes a rear storage box 1, a seat cushion 94, and a manual control element 2. The seat cushion 94 is suitable for rotating between a first orientation (as shown in FIG. 1) and a second orientation (as shown in FIG. 2) relative to the rear storage box 1. When the seat cushion 94 is in the first orientation, the seat cushion 94 covers the rear storage box 1. When the seat cushion 94 is in the second orientation, the rear storage box 1 is in an open state. The manual control element 2 is disposed in the rear storage box 1 , wherein when the seat cushion 94 is in the first position (as shown in FIG. 1 ), the manual control element 2 is covered by the seat cushion 94 .

FIG. 4 shows the detailed structure of the manual control element and the rear storage box of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 4, in one embodiment, the manual control element 2 includes a knob or a button. The above disclosure does not limit the present invention. For example, in another embodiment, the manual control element 2 can be a switch of other forms such as a lever.

FIG. 5A is a schematic diagram showing the application of a manual control element of an embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 5A , in an embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a fuel tank cover 51, a cable (not shown) and a cover lock 52. One end of the cable (not shown) is connected to the manual control element 2, and the other end of the cable (not shown) is connected to the cover lock 52. By operating the manual control element 2, the cover lock 52 can be unlocked to release the fuel tank cover 51. With reference to FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, the fuel tank cover is suitable for covering a fuel tank 6.

FIG. 5B is a schematic diagram showing the application of a manual control element of another embodiment of the present invention. Referring to FIG. 5B , in one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a front storage box cover 53, a cable (not shown) and a front storage box cover lock 54, one end of the cable (not shown) is connected to the manual control element 2, and the other end of the cable (not shown) is connected to the front storage box cover lock 54. By operating the manual control element 2, the front storage box cover lock 54 can be unlocked to release the front storage box cover 53.

FIG6 is an exploded view showing the manual control element and the frame of the present invention. With reference to FIG4 and FIG6, in one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a frame 3, the rear storage box 1 is disposed on the frame 3, and the manual control element 2 is connected to the frame 3.

With reference to FIGS. 2, 3, and 4, in one embodiment, the motorcycle further includes a seat cushion pivot mechanism 4, the seat cushion pivot mechanism 4 is disposed on the frame 3, the seat cushion link 94 is connected to the seat cushion pivot mechanism 4, and the seat cushion 94 rotates between the first position and the second position through the seat cushion pivot mechanism 4. In one embodiment, the seat cushion pivot mechanism 4 rotates between the first position and the second position through a pneumatic element, and the above disclosure does not limit the present invention.

With reference to FIGS. 4 and 6 , in one embodiment, the rear storage box 1 includes a box body 11 and a flange 12, wherein the flange 12 is disposed on the upper edge of the box body 11, and the manual control element 2 is disposed on the flange 12. Specifically, a mounting hole 121 is formed on the flange 12, and the manual control element 2 partially passes through the mounting hole 121. In one embodiment, a mounting hole 122 is further formed on the flange 12, and the mounting hole 122 can be used to mount a chipset, a relay, or other motorcycle parts.

Referring to FIGS. 4 and 6 , in one embodiment, the frame includes a first extension tube 31, a second extension tube 32, and a mounting seat 33. The mounting seat 33 straddles the first extension tube 31 and the second extension tube 32. The mounting seat 33 is formed with an engagement groove 331, and the manual control element 2 is engaged with the engagement groove 331. Thus, the mounting seat 33 can provide the manual control element 2 with functions such as limiting and supporting.

4 , in one embodiment, in a horizontal direction H (eg, a straight direction), the manual control element 2 is located between the seat pivot mechanism 4 and the box 11 .

4 , in one embodiment, the rear storage box 1 includes a side wall 13 , the side wall 13 is connected to the flange 12 , and the side wall 13 at least partially corresponds to the manual control element 2 .

Referring to FIG. 4 , in one embodiment, a lighting fixture groove 111 is formed in the housing 11 , and a lighting fixture (not shown) is suitable for being installed in the lighting fixture groove 111 to provide lighting for the interior of the housing 11 .

In the embodiment of the invention, when the seat is in the first position, the manual control element is covered by the seat. Through the shielding of the seat, the manual control element is not easily affected by external environmental factors. In addition to being less likely to get stuck with mud, sand and water, the manual control element is located below the seat and will not be deteriorated by sunlight exposure. It also has an anti-theft function, which enhances the commercial value of the entire vehicle.

In the embodiments of the present invention, the motorcycle defined in the present invention may include a fuel motorcycle, an electric motorcycle or other motor vehicles.

Although the present invention has been disclosed as above with specific preferred embodiments, it is not intended to limit the present invention. Anyone familiar with this technology can make slight changes and modifications without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Therefore, the scope of protection of the present invention shall be subject to the scope defined in the attached patent application.

Claims (10)

A motorcycle with a rear storage box, comprising: a rear storage box; a seat cushion, adapted to rotate between a first position and a second position relative to the rear storage box, wherein when the seat cushion is in the first position, the seat cushion covers the rear storage box, and when the seat cushion is in the second position, the rear storage box is in an open state; and a manual control element, disposed in the rear storage box, wherein when the seat cushion is in the first position, the manual control element is covered by the seat cushion. A motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 1, wherein the manual control element includes a knob or a button. The motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 2 further includes a fuel tank cover, a cable and a cover lock, one end of the cable is connected to the manual control element, and the other end of the cable is connected to the cover lock. By operating the manual control element, the cover lock can be unlocked to release the fuel tank cover. The motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 2 further includes a front storage box cover, a cable and a front storage box cover lock, one end of the cable is connected to the manual control element, and the other end of the cable is connected to the front storage box cover lock. By operating the manual control element, the front storage box cover lock can be unlocked to release the front storage box cover. The motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 1 further includes a frame, the rear storage box is arranged on the frame, and the manual control element is connected to the frame. The motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 5 further includes a seat cushion pivot mechanism, which is disposed on the frame, the seat cushion is connected to the seat cushion pivot mechanism, and the seat cushion rotates between the first position and the second position through the seat cushion pivot mechanism. A motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 6, wherein the rear storage box includes a box body and a flange, the flange is arranged on the upper edge of the box body, and the manual control element is arranged on the flange. A motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 7, wherein the frame includes a first extension tube, a second extension tube and a mounting base, the mounting base straddles the first extension tube and the second extension tube, and an engagement groove is formed on the mounting base, and the manual control element engages with the engagement groove. A motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 7, wherein in a horizontal direction, the manual control element is located between the seat pivot mechanism and the box body. A motorcycle with a rear storage box as described in claim 7, wherein the rear storage box includes a side wall connected to the flange, and the side wall at least partially corresponds to the manual control element.
