SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA CONTROLAR LOS NIVELES DE EMISION DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO PROVENIENTES DE UN PROCESO DE DESHIDROGENACION OXIDATIVA (ODH) QUE COMPRENDE: I) INTRODUCIR UNA MEZCLA DE GASES QUE COMPRENDE UN ALCANO INFERIOR Y OXIGENO, Y OPCIONALMENTE VAPOR Y DILUYENTE INERTE, EN UN REACTOR DE ODH QUE CONTENGA CATALIZADORES DE ODH QUE UTILIZAN DIOXIDO DE CARBONO COMO AGENTE OXIDANTE, EN CONDICIONES PARA PRODUCIR UNA CORRIENTE DE ALQUENO CORRESPONDIENTE, Y DE ALCANO INFERIOR SIN REACCIONAR, OXIGENO SIN REACCIONAR, DIOXIDO DE CARBONO, MONOXIDO DE CARBONO, DILUYENTE INERTE Y ACIDO ACETICO; II) MEDIR LOS NIVELES DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO EN DICHA CORRIENTE DE PRODUCTO; Y TAMBIEN: a) INTRODUCIR VAPOR, O AUMENTAR LA CANTIDAD DE VAPOR INTRODUCIDO PARA DISMINUIR LOS NIVELES DE EMISION DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO, b) DISMINUIR LA VELOCIDAD DE FLUJO DE VAPOR INTRODUCIDO PARA AUMENTAR LOS NIVELES DE EMISION DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO CUANDO EL NIVEL DE DIOXIDO DE CARBONO MEDIDO ESTA POR DEBAJO DEL NIVEL OBJETIVO PREDETERMINADO, Y c) AUMENTAR O DISMINUIR LA RELACION VOLUMETRICA DE OXIGENO A ETANO EN LA MEZCLA DE GASES
