DONDE EL METODO COMPRENDE: a) LIXIVIAR EL MATERIAL QUE CONTIENE COBRE; b) EFECTUAR LA CONVERSION EN EL PRODUCTO DE LIXIVIACION EN PRESENCIA DE UN MATERIAL CONTENIENDO SULFURO DE HIERRO, CON EL FIN DE OBTENER SULFURO DE COBRE, A UNA TEMPERATURA ENTRE 170°C Y 260°C; c) SEPARAR POR FLOTACION EL MATERIAL DE GANGA DEL SULFURO DE COBRE OBTENIDO DE (b), DONDE LOS COMPONENTES VALIOSOS DEL SULFURO DE COBRE Y LOS MINERALES SON FLOTADOS SEPARADAMENTE SOBRE LA BASE DE LA DIFERENCIA EN EL PESO ESPECIFICO; d) LLEVAR EL PRODUCTO DE MINERAL DE GANGA OBTENIDO DE (c) A (a), A LA CONCENTRACION DE LA MENA CONTENIENDO COBRE O A UN PROCESAMIENTO ULTERIOR CONTROLADO ELECTROQUIMICAMENTE POR MEDIO DE ELECTRODOS MINERALES, TAL COMO LIXIVIACION O FLOTACION; Y, e) LLEVAR EL PRODUCTO DE SULFURO DE COBRE OBTENIDO DE (c) A UN FUNDIDOR PARA LA FABRICACION DE COBRE EN BRUTO.
