- 청구항 40에 있어서,상기 전력을 전달하는 수단은, 상기 밀봉된 배터리 집합체가 상기 경피성 전달 장치에 탈거가능하게 결합될 때 상기 전원과 상기 경피성 전달 장치의 적어도 하나의 전극 사이의 전기적 연결을 제공하도록 상기 하우징의 외부 표면 상에 적어도 2개의 전기적 경로를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀봉된 배터리 집합체.
- 청구항 40에 있어서,상기 전력을 전달하는 수단은,교류를 제공하기 위한 인버터, 및상기 교류를 수용하도록 결합되고, 상기 밀봉된 배터리 집합체가 상기 경피서 전달 장치에 탈거가능하게 결합될 때 상기 경피성 전달 장치의 제 2 권선에 전류 흐름을 유도하도록 배치된 적어도 제 1 권선을 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀봉된 배터리 집합체.
- 청구항 40에 있어서,상기 밀봉된 배터리 집합체에 상기 경피성 전달 장치를 탈거가능하게 자기적으로 결합하기 위한 영구 자석의 형태의 자기적 커플러(coupler)를 더 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 밀봉된 배터리 집합체.

- 하나 이상의 활성 약제(active agent)를 개체(subject)의 생물학적 계면으로 경피성 전달(transdermal delivery)하기 위한 이온 영동(iontophoretic) 약물 전달 시스템에 있어서,상대 전극 집합체(counter electrode assembly),적어도 하나의 활성 약제 저장소(active agent reservoir)를 포함하는 활성 전극 집합체(active electrode assembly)로서, 상기 적어도 하나의 활성 약제 저장소로부터 상기 생물학적 계면으로 상기 적어도 하나의 활성 약제의 적어도 일부를 이동시키기 위한 기전력을 제공하도록 동작가능한, 상기 활성 전극 집합체,상기 상대 전극 집합체 및 상기 활성 전극 집합체에 전기적으로 결합되고, 상기 활성 전극 잡합체에 제공되는 기전력을 제어하도록 동작가능한 탄성 회로(flexible circuit), 및상기 탄성 회로에 전기적으로 결합되고, 상기 활성 전극 집합체에 기전력을 제공하도록 동작가능한 인쇄된(printed) 전원을 포함하는 이온 영동 약물 전달 시스템.

- 청구항 49에 있어서,상기 탄성 회로는 상기 하나 이상의 활성 약제들의 지속된 전달 또는 제어된 전달을 실질적으로 제공하기 위해, 상기 활성 전극 집합체에 제공되는 시간 기간 동안 전압 및 전류를 제어하도록 동작가능한 것을 특징으로 하는 이온 영동 약물 전달 시스템.
- 청구항 49에 있어서,상기 탄성 회로에 대한 전류의 흐름을 선택적으로 제어하기 위한 스위치를 더 포함하고,상기 스위치는 돔(dome) 스위치, 막(membrane) 스위치, 촉각(tactile) 스위치, 1회용 돔 스위치, 1회용 막 스위치, 또는 1회용 촉각 스위치 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 이온 영동 약물 전달 시스템.

- 청구항 58에 있어서,상기 분리가능 제어기는 상기 분리가능 제어기의 대응하는 음 전류 부재 및 양 전류 부재에 전기적으로 결합된 적어도 제 1 도전성 트레이스(trace) 및 제 2 도전성 트레이스를 포함하고, 상기 제 1 도전성 트레이스 및 제 2 도전성 트레이스는 상기 경피성 전달 장치 상에 배치된 적어도 제 3 도전성 트레이스 및 제 4 도전성 트레이스 각각에 대응하고, 이에 따라 상기 분리 가능 제어기가 상기 경피성 전달 장치에 자기적으로 결합될 때 상기 제 1 도전성 트레이스 및 제 2 도전성 트레이스는 정확한 극성으로 상기 제 3 도전성 트레이스 및 제 4 도전성 트레이스와 전기적으로 연결되는 것을 특징으로 하는 분리가능 제어기.

- 경피성 전달 장치에 있어서,적어도 하나의 상대 전극 부재(counter electrode element)를 포함하는 상대 전극 집합체(counter electrode assembly),적어도 하나의 활성 약제 저장소(active agent reservoir)를 포함하고, 상기 적어도 하나의 활성 약제 저장소로부터 개체(subject)의 생물학적 계면으로 활성 약제를 이동시키기 위해 기전력을 제공하도록 동작가능한 적어도 하나의 활성 전극 부재(active electrode element)를 포함하는 활성 전극 집합체(active electrode assembly),전원 공급기에 전기적으로 결합되고 무선 통신을 송신 및 수신하도록 구성될 때, 가로지르는 전압을 제공하도록 동작가능한 상기 상대 전극 부재 및 상기 활성 전극 부재에 전기적으로 결합된 제어 회로, 및상기 무선 통신을 통해 상기 제어 회로에 적어도 하나의 명령(instruction)을 통신하도록 구성된 제어기를 포함하는 경피성 전달 장치.
- 청구항 68에 있어서,상기 적어도 하나의 명령은 암호화된 데이터 스트림, 활성화(activation) 코드, 허가 명령, 인증 데이터 스트림, 처방 투약 명령, 및 처방 계획(prescribed regimen)에 따른 1회분 투약 명령 중 적어도 하나를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 경피성 전달 장치.
- 청구항 68에 있어서,상기 무선 통신은 광 연결(optical connection), 자외선 연결, 적외선 연결, 블루투스(BLUETOOTH) 연결, 인터넷 연결, 또는 네트워크 연결의 형태를 취하는 것을 특징으로 하는 경피성 전달 장치.
- 청구항 68에 있어서,부하(load)가 상기 상대 전극 집합체 및 상기 활성 전극 집합체를 가로질러 배치되기 전에, 상기 제어기가 ON 상태로 있도록 구성된 것을 특징으로 하는 경피성 전달 장치.
