Description
本発明は、請求項1の上位概念部に記載した形式の、シールリングを備えた燃料噴射弁から出発する。
請求項1の特徴部に記載の特徴を有する本発明による燃料噴射弁には、従来のものに比べて次のような利点がある。すなわち、燃料噴射弁が取付け穴の軸線に対して比較的大きな角度範囲にわたって旋回した場合でも、取付け穴と燃料噴射弁との間の環状ギャップの確実なシールが可能となる。さらに、環状ギャップをシールするための本発明による解決手段は、簡単かつ廉価に製作され得る。
図1に示した、シールリング1aを備えた本発明による燃料噴射弁1は、混合気圧縮型火花点火式の内燃機関の燃料噴射装置に用いられる燃料噴射弁の形で構成されている。燃料噴射弁1は、シリンダヘッド1bに設けられた取付け穴(図示しない)内に挿入されている。シリンダヘッド1bはシールリング1aの範囲内でのみ断面で書き込まれている。なぜならば、本発明にとって重要となる当該範囲は、後続の図面で詳しく説明するからである。燃料噴射弁1は特に、内燃機関の燃焼室(図示しない)内へ燃料を直接噴射するために適している。
Claims (8)
- 内燃機関のシリンダヘッド(1b)に設けられた取付け穴(39)内に挿入可能である燃料噴射弁(1)であって、取付け穴(39)内で当該燃料噴射弁(1)を全周にわたって取り囲むようにシールリング(1a)が配置されている形式のものにおいて、シールリング(1a)が、当該燃料噴射弁(1)に対する部分球面状の、横断面凹面状に形成された接触面(40)を有しており、該接触面(40)が、当該燃料噴射弁(1)に設けられた、対応する部分球面状の、横断面凸面状に形成された対応面(40a)に接触していることを特徴とする燃料噴射弁。
- シールリング(1a)が、取付け穴(39)と当該燃料噴射弁(1)との間の環状ギャップ(38)内で燃焼室側に位置する面に、全周にわたって延びる環状の下側の溝(42)を有している、請求項1記載の燃料噴射弁。
- シールリング(1a)が、取付け穴(39)と当該燃料噴射弁(1)との間の環状ギャップ(38)内で燃焼室とは反対の側に位置する面に、全周にわたって延びる環状の上側の溝(43)を有している、請求項1または2記載の燃料噴射弁。
- シールリング(1a)の部分球面状の接触面(40)および当該燃料噴射弁(1)の部分球面状の対応面(40a)の旋回中心点が当該燃料噴射弁(1)の中心軸線(41)に位置するように前記接触面(40)および前記対応面(40a)の半径(r)が設定されている、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射弁。
- シールリング(1a)が、当該燃料噴射弁(1)に設けられた周方向の溝(37)内に配置されている、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射弁。
- シールリング(1a)を収容するための前記溝(37)が、ノズルボディ(2)もしくは弁座支持体に加工成形されている、請求項5記載の燃料噴射弁。
- ノズルボディ(2)もしくは弁座支持体が深絞り成形部分として形成されており、該深絞り成形部分に当該燃料噴射弁(1)の部分球面状の対応面(40a)が加工成形されている、請求項6記載の燃料噴射弁。
- シールリング(1a)がテフロン(登録商標)から成っている、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項記載の燃料噴射弁。
