【解決手段】ゴム成分、及び脂肪族カルボン酸の亜鉛塩と芳香族カルボン酸の亜鉛塩との混合物を含有し、前記ゴム成分が天然ゴム及びブタジエンゴムを含み、該ブタジエンの含有量が前記ゴム成分100質量%中10〜90質量%であり、前記脂肪族カルボン酸の亜鉛塩と芳香族カルボン酸の亜鉛塩との混合物の含有量が、前記ゴム成分100質量部に対して、1〜10質量部であるベーストレッド用ゴム組成物。

表1に示す配合内容に従い、1.7Lバンバリーミキサーを用いて、配合材料のうち、硫黄及び加硫促進剤以外の材料を150℃の条件下で5分間混練りし、混練り物を得た。次に、得られた混練り物に硫黄及び加硫促進剤を添加し、2軸オープンロールを用いて、80℃の条件下で5分間練り込み、未加硫ゴム組成物を得た。
得られた未加硫ゴム組成物をベーストレッド形状に成形して、他のタイヤ部材と貼り合せ、表1の加硫条件で加硫することにより、試験用タイヤを作製した。
キュラストメーターを用い、170℃における未加硫ゴム組成物の加硫曲線を測定した。最大トルク上昇値(MH−ML)を100として、加硫開始時点から15分後のトルク上昇値(M(15分)−ML)を相対値で示し、相対値を100から引いた値をリバージョン率とした。リバージョン率が小さいほど、リバージョンが抑制され、良好であることを示す。
実施例及び比較例で作製した試験用タイヤのベーストレッドを切り出し、破断強度(引張強さ)及び破断伸び(切断時伸び)をJIS K6251−1993に準拠して測定し、比較例1を100として、下記計算式で指数表示した。指数が大きいほど良好である。
(引張強さ及び伸びの指数)=(各配合の引張強さ及び伸び)/(比較例1の引張強さ及び伸び)×100
実施例及び比較例で作製した試験用タイヤのベーストレッドからそれぞれサンプルを切り出し、粘弾性スペクトロメーターVES((株)岩本製作所製)を用いて、温度70℃、初期歪み10%、動歪み2%の条件下で各配合のtanδを測定し、比較例1のtanδを100として、下記計算式より指数表示した。指数が大きいほど転がり抵抗性が優れる。
(転がり抵抗指数)=(比較例1のtanδ)/(各配合のtanδ)×100
JIS K 6300−1「未加硫ゴム−物理特性−第1部:ムーニー粘度計による粘度及びスコーチタイムの求め方」に準じて、ムーニー粘度試験機を用いて、1分間の予熱によって熱せられた130℃の温度条件にて、小ローターを回転させ、4分間経過した時点での未加硫ゴム組成物のムーニー粘度(ML1+4/130℃)を測定した。なお、小数点以下は、四捨五入した。ムーニー粘度に基づき加工性を評価し、30以上50未満のものを○、30未満又は50以上のものを×とした。
Claims (2)
- ゴム成分、及び脂肪族カルボン酸の亜鉛塩と芳香族カルボン酸の亜鉛塩との混合物を含有し、
前記ゴム成分が天然ゴム及びブタジエンゴムを含み、該ブタジエンの含有量が前記ゴム成分100質量%中10〜90質量%であり、
前記脂肪族カルボン酸の亜鉛塩と芳香族カルボン酸の亜鉛塩との混合物の含有量が、前記ゴム成分100質量部に対して、1〜10質量部であるベーストレッド用ゴム組成物。 - 請求項1記載のベーストレッド用ゴム組成物を用いたベーストレッドを有するタイヤ。
