Abstract

986,417. Lampholders. CARR FASTENER CO. Ltd. April 10, 1963 [May 16, 1962], No. 18907/62. Heading H2E. A lampholder comprises a metal tube 1 with a connector 9, and a spring-loaded plunger 6 carrying a centre contact 8, the head of the tube being flanged at 2 and embedded in a resilient panel-mounting clip 16 of nylon. In a modification, Fig. 2 (not shown), the central contact is mounted on a hollow nylon bush which protects the connecting wire.
