Abstract

1,029,820. Loose-leaf binders. PRAKTIKUS GESELLSCHAFT FUER NEUZEITLICHE BUEROATIKEL. Nov. 16, 1962 [Dec. 1, 1961; April 14, 1962], No. 43547/62. Heading B6E. A loose-leaf binder comprises a filing post, having a head 19 and indentations 15 spaced over its length, and a closure member 18 adapted to be pressed over the filing post and detachably clipped into the indentations. The filing post is provided with flats 17 on opposite sides. The aperture in the closure member is correspondingly shaped whereby the closure member is locked in position by rotating it through 90 degrees relative to the filing post. In this position lips 23 on the closure member engage indentations 15 in the filing post. Alternatively, the filing post comprises part spherical portions separated by cylindrical portions of lesser diameter, Fig. 4 (not shown). The closure member consists of a headed sleeve having a lip at its lower end which clips over the filing post.
