Abstract

935,628. Ships' windows. BULL'S METAL & MARINE Ltd. Nov. 22, 1961 [Dec. 8, 1960], No. 42314/60. Class 20 (3). [Also in Group XXV] The edges 37 of a glazed door 10 hinged upon the main frame 15 of a ship's window is shrouded by a continuous bead or flange 35 on the outboard side of the main frame. The flange 35 forms one side of a channel 32 containing a seal 33 for the door edges. The main frame has a spigot 24 shaped for extending inboard through an opening in the ship's plating. The door is releasably secured closed by a hook member 19 engaging over the edge portion 23 of the spigot 24 (see Group XXV). The light 38 is secured in the door 10 by a glazing frame 41.
