909,553. Draughting machines. INDUSTRIELLE TECHNIK GES. FUR. March 10, 1961 [April 8, 1960], No. 8822/61. Class 97 (3). A draughting machine comprises a drawing board 1, a horizontal guide rail 3 extending parallel to the drawing board near the upper edge thereof, holding means 2 supporting the guide rail 3 and attached to the drawing board 1, a carriage 6 slidable on the guide rail 3, a carrier rail 12 at right angles to the guide rail 3, a counterbalanced drawing machine head 14 carried by the carrier rail 12 and a guide part 11 in the carriage 6 in which the carrier rail 12 slides. The rails 3, 12 are of circular crosssection and rail 3 may be provided with an abutment rail 9 to limit the rotational movement of members 6, 14. The carriage 6 and rail 12 are fixed in position by screws 10, 18 and the counterbalancing is effected by a cord 19 and spiral spring 22.
