809,837. Curtain suspension. SWISH PRODUCTS Ltd. May 20, 1957 [March 26, 1956], No. 9273/56. Class 52(5) A synthetic plastic rail 12 has an enlarged head received in a groove 114 in a synthetic plastic fixing bracket 113, the longitudinal axis of the groove being offset as shown so that when the bracket is fixed to a vertical supporting surface, the groove is subjected to torsion causing it to bind on the rail. Many forms of enlarged rail heads are described. The upper fixing surface 111 of bracket 113 is inclined so as to twist the groove against the rail in a vertical plane when the bracket is mounted on a horizontal support. Specification 715,150 is referred to.
