714,211. Reservoir pens. PLASMA ERZEUGNISSE GES . May 30, 1952, No. 13769/52. Class 146(3) A writing tip for a ball point pen includes a meta tube 23 provided with three or more interna part-spherical proturber, ances 25 on which the bal 24 seats. The proturberances 25 are formed by a pressing operation and they protrude about 0.1 t( 0.15 mm. inwards. The ball is retained on the seating by rounding off the free end of the tube. The tube 23 is made of palladium or chrome-nickel alloy, and is inserted into the tip 21 of an ink reservoir 27, made of transparent synthetic resin, which is supported in a housing 22. The ball 24 is about 0.8 mm. diameter, and made of precious stone.
