Abstract

1337485 Liquid developing apparatus FUJI PHOTO FILM CO Ltd 22 June 1971 [22 June 1970] 29279/71 Heading G2H An electrostatic latent image bearing sheet 100 is fed past developing liquid nozzles 9 by rollers 1 to 6, endless bands 11 passing around the rollers on at least one side of the sheet path to keep adjustably mounted electrode rollers 7, 8 spaced from the image bearing surface. As shown, the bands pass around the lower rollers 1, 2, 3 and are thicker than sheet 100 in order to hold rollers 7, 8 away from the image. Rollers 7, 8 may be gravity or spring-pressed against bands 11. In Fig.6 (not shown) the bands 11 pass around the upper rollers 4, 5, 6; the electrode rollers 7, 8 engaging the inner surfaces of the bands. Preferred materials are named for the various rollers.
