Abstract
1313213 Knitting-machines ETUDES ET BONNETERIE SA 6 July 1970 [10 July 1969 5 Aug 1969] 32570/70 Heading D1C A circular machine equipped with jacks 9 having deformable parts 12 includes magnetic selection stations 15 at which the jacks arriving with the parts 12 deformed as shown and in operative position, with the ends of the jacks above raise cam 11, can be maintained by actuation of the electromagnet. The jacks are moved into these positions by a setting cam 13 prior to the station. Selected jacks are thus raised by cam 11 to place the needles in a working position. Unselected jacks are urged to the inoperative position by the part 12 flexing against fixed cam 14. The selection station may include a holding magnet downstream, and a lead-in magnet upstream, of the selecting electromagnet.
