Abstract
1383110 Urea FISONS Ltd 26 July 1973 [3 Aug 1972] 36209/72 Heading C2C Urea is produced in granular form by (1) tumbling or agitating together urea particles in a granulation device in the presence of a liquid phase, whereby the particles are caused to agglomerate, and (2) classifying the agglomerated particles and recycling those particles having a size below that desired to the granulation device without subjecting them to a deliberate cooling step. The urea may be employed in admixture with other fertilizer materials, e.g. ammonium phosphate, potassium chloride, potassium sulphate, potassium nitrate, phosphate rock and/or limestone.
