1348683 Hair-dryer hoods WELLA AG 19 April 1971 [4 March 1970] 26024/71 Heading A5R A hair-dryer hood having outer and inner shells 5a, b and a fan 3 whose part 3a draws fresh air into the outer shell 5a at A and passes it over a heater 9 for discharge at B through openings 6 distributed over the inner shell 5b, includes in the inner shell 5A a return flow opening 7 at the upper end, and a plurality of channels 8 formed as elongated recesses extending downwards from the opening 7 with decreasing cros-section, and terminating short of the lower end, whereby a proportion of the discharged air, preferably about twothirds, may be drawn back at C by fan part 3b through the channels 8 to opening 7 for recirculation, the remainder of the air escaping at D.
