Abstract
1,233,610. Mine roof supports. GULLICK DOBSON Ltd. 8 Sept., 1969 [1 Oct., 1968], No. 46433/68. Heading E1P. In a mine roof support comprising a T- shaped canopy 16, bars or beams 17, 18 are mounted on either side of the stem portion 16a of the canopy and supported by props 14, 15 respectively. The members 17, 18 may be mounted on the base structure of the support or pivoted as at 19 to the canopy thereof. In a modification, see Figs. 3 and 4 (not shown), the stem 16a is extended somewhat and supported on a prop in line with the props 14, 15.
