Abstract
1,213,838. Taking up slack in flexible elements. LEESONA CORP. 10 Dec., 1968 [20 Dec., 1967], No. 58605/68. Heading B8B. An assembly for taking up slack in. power supply conduits 58, 60 extending between a fixed connector 70 and a bracket 62 on a carriage movable along a track 26 between service stations on a textile spinning frame, comprises a chassis 38 movable on rollers 42 along a track 44 under the influence of the conduits 58, 60 which extend from the bracket 62 in opposite directions along the track to pass around pulleys 48 at the ends of the chassis prior to their coupling to the connector 70. The latter is secured to the chassis track 46 and includes a coupling block 80 for the conduit 58, adjustably secured in a slat 74 extending longitudinally of the connector, and coupling 86 for the conduit 60, the coupling 86 being freely slidable along a slot 76 in the connector 70 and under the influence of an adjustable spring 96.
