Abstract
1299271 Conduit couplings H B CHENEY 25 Feb 1970 [31 March 1969] 9121/70 Heading H2E An electrical conduit connection 12 has a socket 16 containing a sleeve 22 which has a plurality fo resilient fingers 24 at one end. Locating projections 28 on the sleeve seat on a shoulder 30 on the socket and the other end of the sleeve is held by the edge of the socket being turned over. A plug 20 fits in the socket and is retained by the fingers 24. The plug seats on a shoulder 36 on the socket and the plug may be formed with a recess 38 to receive the fingers 24, which may be sharpened. The sleeve may be made of bronze, spring steel, or stainless steel, and may be cadmium coated to provide an anti-corrosive electrically conductive coating.
