1294270 Cooking vessel O R LUDENA 7 Oct 1971 46762/71 Heading A4A A cooking utensil comprises an outer vessel 1 having an inner peripheral lip 6, an inner cooking vessel 2 perforated at the upper portion of its side wall and provided with an upper peripheral lip 8 and a peripheral shoulder 5 to rest on the lip 6, a water-holding space between the inner and outer vessels, a steaming plate 3 perforated at the lower part of its side wall and provided with a peripheral shoulder 7 which rests on the lip 8 of the inner vessel and a cover 4 which closes the outer vessel and encloses the inner vessel and steaming plate. The steaming plate may support additional cooking vessels 15. As the water 9 is heated, the steam produced passes through apertures 11 in the upper part of the wall of the inner vessel and through holes 12 around the base of the side-wall of the steaming plate.
